STALLIONS, INTERRUPTED – The NORTH AMERICAN UNIVERSITY STALLIONS debuted in intercollegiate football last year, but of course Covid wreaked havoc on that historic season, with countless games canceled around the country. Yesterday the Stallions played their first game of their 2021 campaign, so we’ll see how things go this time around.
North American University took it on the road against the LOUISIANA COLLEGE WILDCATS and found themselves on top 14-7 in the 1st Quarter and 34-14 at Halftime. After the break the Wildcats roared back to take a 38-34 lead by the end of the 3rd Quarter. In the end the Stallions held on for a 42-41 victory in this thriller.
RANKED TEAMS ROLLING – The (2) NORTHWESTERN (IA) COLLEGE RED RAIDERS trounced their hosts the PRESENTATION COLLEGE SAINTS (should be the Angels) to the tune of 66-9 ### Meanwhile the (5) GRAND VIEW UNIVERSITY VIKINGS (should be the Zebras) won a 37-10 home stand against the CENTRAL METHODIST UNIVERSITY EAGLES ### And the (7) BAKER UNIVERSITY WILDCATS won on the road against the CULVER STOCKTON COLLEGE WILDCATS 38-36.
WAR IN THE WINDY CITY – In this game the ROOSEVELT UNIVERSITY LAKERS welcomed the MAYVILLE STATE COMETS. A 14-6 opening Quarter lead by the Lakers was cut to a 24-19 advantage by the Half. In the 3rd Quarter Roosevelt University extended their lead to 30-19 before squelching the Comets’ 4th Quarter rally for a 37-32 victory.
WARRIOR ON WARRIOR VIOLENCE – The STERLING COLLEGE WARRIORS found themselves on the road against the MIDLAND UNIVERSITY WARRIORS (should be the Lutherans). By Halftime in this gridiron grudge match Midland University was clinging to a 22-21 edge but after the break Sterling College went up 35-29 in the 3rd Quarter and finally emerged with a 38-36 win.
TRIPLING UP ON THE COMPETITION – This game pitted the COLLEGE OF IDAHO COYOTES against the home standing MONTANA STATE-NORTHERN LIGHTS in a Frontier Conference matchup. The Coyotes seized a quick 14-0 1st Quarter advantage, but the Lights pulled to within 21-14 by the midpoint of the game. A scoreless 3rd Quarter was followed by a lopsided 4th, in which the College of Idaho logged 21 points to win it 42-14.
WE WENT TO A FOOTBALL GAME BUT A BASEBALL GAME BROKE OUT – The DAKOTA STATE TROJANS and the DAKOTA WESLEYAN TIGERS (should be the Blue Tigers) did battle for the Chamber of Commerce Trophy once again yesterday. The defenses dominated the game and in the end the Trojans came out on top by a final tally of SIX to NOTHING!
ROAD WARRIORS – The OTTAWA (KS) UNIVERSITY BRAVES totaled their hosts the OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE STATE OKIES 42-7 ### The MIDAMERICA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY PIONEERS crushed the GRACELAND UNIVERSITY YELLOW JACKETS 49-17 ### Meanwhile the BENEDICTINE COLLEGE RAVENS won 35-13 at the WILLIAM PENN UNIVERSITY STATESMEN ### And the EASTERN ORGEGON MOUNTAINEERS survived against the MONTANA TECH OREDIGGERS 26-24.
BATTLE IN THE SUNSHINE STATE – The EDWARD WATERS COLLEGE TIGERS welcomed the MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY LIONS in this game. This tale of two Halves was almost all-defense at first, with the Lions holding a 6-0 edge at the midpoint. The 3rd Quarter saw the Tigers pull to within 13-7 and in the 4th Edward Waters College outscored MU 17-7 for a 24-20 comeback win.
HAPPY HOME STANDS – The TABOR COLLEGE BLUE JAYS pecked apart the visiting ARKANSAS BAPTIST COLLEGE BUFFALOS 29-14 ### Meanwhile the PERU STATE BOBCATS hammered the MISSOURI VALLEY COLLEGE VIKINGS 47-21 ### And the LYON COLLEGE SCOTS fell to their hosts the MISSOURI BAPTIST UNIVERSITY SPARTANS by a score of 31-14.
UNDER THE RADAR CLASSIC – The UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA-WESTERN BULLDOGS traveled to take on the CARROLL COLLEGE FIGHTING SAINTS. The two familiar foes had a tight game all the way, with the Bulldogs leading 7-3 in the opening Quarter and 13-5 at Halftime. The Fighting Saints trailed by just 19-15 to end the 3rd Quarter, then went on top 22-19 in the 4th before a late Touchdown from UM-Western gave them a 26-22 triumph.
“LAWRENCE, WOULD YOU PUT THAT DOWN, PLEASE?” – My fellow fans of bad movies will get that obscure reference. The LAWRENCE TECH BLUE DEVILS played host to the MADONNA UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS yesterday. After a scoreless 1st Quarter, Halftime found the teams knotted up 7-7. After the break the Blue Devils shut out the Crusaders the rest of the way while adding 19 more points for themselves to win it 26-7.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH – The ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLLEGE BATTLIN’ BEARS took the field against the visiting SOUTHERN OREGON UNIVERSITY RAIDERS (should be the Sea Gulls). The Battlin’ Bears were chasing their opponents 7-5 to end the opening Quarter but by the Half had gone out in front 28-14. From there the two teams exchanged score for score, with Rocky Mountain College getting a 42-28 victory.
FIRESTORM ROLL – This game pitted the ARIZONA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY FIRESTORM against their guests, the LINCOLN (CA) UNIVERSITY OAKLANDERS. The 2nd Half saw ACU shut out the Oaklanders while adding 14 more points for themselves as they went on to win the game 33-9.
WELCOME BACK! – The SAINT AMBROSE UNIVERSITY FIGHTING BEES hosted the IOWA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY TIGERS (should be the Purple Tigers), who were playing in their first football game since returning to the NAIA from the NCAA. The Fighting Bees reminded Iowa Wesleyan of the tougher competition they were in for again as they converted a 10-0 1st Quarter lead into a 24-7 Halftime lead and ultimately a 45-13 blowout!
HO, VIKINGS! – The VALLEY CITY STATE VIKINGS kicked off their 2021 season against their guests the UNIVERSITY OF JAMESTOWN JIMMIES. The Vikings seized a quick 10-0 1st Quarter advantage which remained unchanged by the Half. That became a 17-0 lead over the Jimmies in the 3rd Quarter and a 24-7 triumph in the 4th.
NCAA DIVISION TWO
THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN – The one and only game in NCAA Division Two this weekend was between the KENTUCKY STATE THOROBREDS and their hosts the CENTRAL STATE MARAUDERS. The Thorobreds kept the Marauders off the scoreboard until the 4th Quarter, leading 6-0 in the 1st Quarter and 13-0 at Halftime. Neither team scored in the 3rd, following which Kentucky State went on to win the game 20-6.

I was just looking for this info for some time. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your website. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this type of informative web sites in top of the list. Generally the top websites are full of garbage.
