NJCAA COLLEGE FOOTBALL RESULTS

Like the NAIA, the NJCAA’s 2020 college football season extended into this year because of Covid delays.

Snow College Badgers helmetONE-POINT WONDER – The closest game for this time around pitted the SNOW COLLEGE BADGERS against the home-standing IOWA WESTERN COLLEGE REIVERS. The Reivers led their opponents by a score of 7-0 in the 1st Quarter, 13-8 at Halftime and 27-18 to end the 3rd Quarter. In the 4th the Badgers came roaring from behind for a 31-30 victory.

Navarro CollegeTEXAS TUSSLE – The NAVARRO COLLEGE BULLDOGS welcomed the TYLER COLLEGE APACHES. The opening Quarter ended with the Bulldogs on top 14-10, which became a 24-19 edge at the Half. In the 3rd Quarter Navarro College extended their lead to 38-29 before having to hold on against a furious Apaches rally in the 4th. The final count was Bulldogs 53  Tyler College 50.

dodge city conquistadors NEWSHUTOUTS – The DODGE CITY COLLEGE CONQUISTADORS played host to the REZOLUTION PREP ACADEMY WILDCATS and made them their prison brides to the tune of FIFTY-FOUR to NOTHING    ###    And the IOWA CENTRAL COLLEGE TRITONS folded, spindled and mutilated the visiting SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY AT SHREVEPORT JAGS in a FIFTY-TWO to NOTHING laugher.

trinity-valley-cardinals-helmet-newROAD WARRIORS – The TRINITY VALLEY COLLEGE CARDINALS took it on the road against the NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA A&M GOLDEN NORSEMEN in this game. The Golden Norsemen were up 10-7 in the 1st Quarter but by Halftime the Cardinals had gone out in front by a score of 17-10. That became 26-10 in the 3rd Quarter before ending in a 29-10 triumph for Trinity Valley College.

garden-city-broncbusters-helmet-newBLOWOUTS – The GARDEN CITY COLLEGE BRONCBUSTERS made the visiting ARKANSAS BAPTIST COLLEGE BUFFALOES feel less than welcome by thrashing them SIXTY-THREE to SIX    ###    And the KILGORE COLLEGE RANGERS kicked around their guests the BLINN COLLEGE BUCCANEERS in an admittedly tighter game. The final tally was Rangers 56  Buccaneers 21.

Cisco College helmetA TALE OF TWO HALVES – That was the story and the glory of this clash between the CISCO COLLEGE WRANGLERS and the traveling NEW MEXICO MILITARY INSTITUTE BRONCOS (should be the Cavalry). Come Halftime these familiar foes were knotted up at 14-14, but after the break the Wranglers went up 21-14 in the 3rd Quarter before winning out 31-20 in the end.
