COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NAIA CHAMPIONS CROWNED

The Covid-prolonged NAIA college football season at last came to a close with last night’s title tilt.

Lindsey_Wilson_KYNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Grambling Stadium was the site of the NAIA title game. The last two teams standing were the LINDSEY WILSON COLLEGE BLUE RAIDERS and the NORTHWESTERN (IA) COLLEGE RED RAIDERS. This all-Raiders affair saw Lindsey Wilson College go up 7-0 in the 1st Quarter.

By Halftime the Blue Raiders had expanded their lead to 17-7. The Red Raiders scored their final points of the game in the 3rd Quarter, which ended with them trailing their opponents 31-13. Lindsey Wilson College added 14 more points in the 4th Quarter to win their football program’s very first National Championship by a final score of 45-13. * THE BLUE RAIDERS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS OF NAIA FOOTBALL *
