Though the Cougars led 3-0 to end the 1st Quarter, by Halftime the Knights were on top 20-3. WHEN RANKED TEAMS CLASH – The 6th ranked COLLEGE OF IDAHO COYOTES found themselves on the road against the number 20 EASTERN OREGON UNIVERSITY MOUNTAINEERS. By the midpoint of this game between these two familiar Frontier Conference opponents the Mountaineers were leading the Coyotes 28-21. ONE TEAM WAS PLAYING BASKETBALL – “One-sided” doesn’t even BEGIN to describe the game between the SAINT ANDREWS UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS and the visiting POINT UNIVERSITY SKYHAWKS. By Halftime the Knights led the Skyhawks 35-14 and never looked back. From there Saint Andrews U went on to obliterate Point University to the tune of SIXTY-TWO to TWENTY.

ARKANSAS ARMAGEDDON – This was a clash between the OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE STATE AGGIES (should be the Okies) and their hosts – the LYON COLLEGE SCOTS, sometimes called the Notre Dame for people of Scottish descent. Neither team scored in the 1st Quarter but by the break the Scots were up 10-7. That turned into a 17-13 advantage to end the 3rd Quarter before OPSU roared from behind to win the game 27-24.
SHUTOUT – In an example of Defensive Perfection on the gridiron the (18) BENEDICTINE COLLEGE RAVENS took the field against the visiting HASTINGS COLLEGE BRONCOS. When did Roosevelt U start football?
When they merged with Robert Morris U in Illinois they inherited that university’s football team.
