It’s that time of year again! Just a note in the spirit of the holiday season to mention my favorite Thanksgiving Eve movie.
Every Wednesday before Thanksgiving I make a point out of watching the musical Oliver! And yes, I know it has nothing to do with Thanksgiving.
I know the musical sentimentalizes several characters that Dickens portrayed in a sinister way in the book (especially Fagan and The Artful Dodger) but the finished product has always seemed very holidayish to me.
Since Christmas has plenty of films that go with it I decided to make Oliver! the official Thanksgiving Eve flick in my eccentric little world.
Reblogged this on El Noticiero de Alvarez Galloso.
Thank you very much!
Anytime

I’ve read theBook.*Oliver Twist,* by Charles Dickens,
and the Book is a vintage-classic masterpiece in every shape, form, and fashion!!!

Absolutely!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.” — Melody Beattie
Thank you, same to you!
You’re most welcome!
