COLLEGE FOOTBALL RESULTS FROM NOVEMBER 7th

William Penn StatesmenNEGOTIATING THEIR WAY TO A WIN – The WILLIAM PENN UNIVERSITY STATESMEN, in a game moved up from November 14th, welcomed the CULVER-STOCKTON COLLEGE WILDCATS. After a scoreless 1st Quarter the Statesmen led 14-7 at Halftime. The 3rd Quarter ended in a 14-14 tie before William Penn U went on to win the game 20-16 from there.

Jamestown College JimmiesJIMMIES ON THE ROAD – The UNIVERSITY OF JAMESTOWN JIMMIES, trying to salvage what they can of an ugly season, visited the BRIAR CLIFF UNIVERSITY CHARGERS yesterday. By the Half the Jimmies had built up a 14-3 advantage over the Chargers, but that was cut to a 17-10 edge in the 3rd Quarter. The defenses ruled in the 4th, so 17-10 was the final tally as well.

MidAmerica_Nazarene_KSRUINED SENIOR DAYS – The MIDAMERICA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY PIONEERS disrupted the Senior Day festivities for the MISSOURI VALLEY COLLEGE VIKINGS by defeating them 28-23    ###    And the MIDLAND UNIVERSITY WARRIORS handed the DOANE COLLEGE TIGERS a 28-3 Senior Day loss.

Texas Wesleyan U Rams NEWUPSET OF THE DAY? – The TEXAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY RAMS were huge underdogs against their hosts the ARIZONA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY FIRESTORM. The Rams put the Firestorm on Upset Alert at Halftime with their 20-10 advantage. That became 30-20 in the 3rd Quarter before Texas Wesleyan held on in the 4th for a 37-34 win.

Northwestern College Red RaidersONE TEAM WAS PLAYING BASKETBALL – The NORTHWESTERN (IA) COLLEGE RED RAIDERS won 62-10 at the HASTINGS COLLEGE BRONCOS   ###   Meanwhile the AVILA UNIVERSITY AVALANCHE obliterated the UNIVERSITY OF SAINT MARY SPIRES 51-0   ###   And the MORNINGSIDE COLLEGE MUSTANGS clobbered their hosts the CONCORDIA (NE) BULLDOGS 56-22.

Bethel (KS) ThreshersUNDER THE RADAR CLASSIC – The BETHEL COLLEGE THRESHERS played host to the SOUTHWESTERN COLLEGE MOUNDBUILDERS on Saturday. The Moundbuilders converted a 7-0 1st Quarter edge into a 21-11 lead at Halftime. The Threshers went up 25-21 to end the 3rd Quarter and an action-packed 4th ended in a 39-35 win for Bethel.

Central Methodist University Eagles helmet NEWROAD WARRIORS – The CENTRAL METHODIST UNIVERSITY EAGLES traveled to face the EVANGEL UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS and won a 27-20 thriller    ###    And the OTTAWA UNIVERSITY BRAVES won an equally tight 35-28 affair at the FRIENDS UNIVERSITY FALCONS.

Warner Memorial U Royals helmetTHE LAKE CALOOSHA CLASH – This game pitted the WARNER UNIVERSITY ROYALS against the visiting WEBBER INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY WARRIORS. By the break the Royals held a 12-7 advantage, then went on to outscore the Warriors 6-3 in the 2nd Half for an 18-10 victory. 

Dickinson State Blue Hawks helmet NEWTHESE GAMES WERE FOR THE BIRDS – Bird-named teams were big yesterday as the DICKINSON STATE BLUE HAWKS won a 52-34 shootout with the PRESENTATION COLLEGE SAINTS    ###    And the KEISER UNIVERSITY SEAHAWKS smacked down the AVE MARIA UNIVERSITY GYRENES 28-7.

Waldorf Warriors helmetONE-POINT WONDER – The WALDORF UNIVERSITY WARRIORS took the field against the visiting DAKOTA STATE TROJANS. The Warriors led the Trojans 7-6 at Halftime, trailed them 9-7 to end the 3rd Quarter, but ultimately won out in the end by a final count of 17-16. Waldorf U improved to 6-3. 

NCAA DIVISION TWO

Nebraska-KearneyTHE MEN FROM U.N.K. – In this covid-ravaged season there is just this D2 result to report. The UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA AT KEARNEY LOPERS welcomed the CHADRON STATE EAGLES. By Halftime the Lopers had a comfortable 31-14 advantage. That became a 38-21 lead in the 3rd Quarter before UNK held on in the 4th for a 45-35 win.
