COLLEGE FOOTBALL RESULTS FROM AUGUST 22nd

Georgia Military College BulldogsWHEN RANKED TEAMS CLASH – The 19th ranked GEORGIA MILITARY COLLEGE BULLDOGS welcomed the number 18 NAVARRO COLLEGE BULLDOGS in a dogfight that has become an opening weekend tradition in recent years. Navarro College led 7-3 in the 1st Quarter and 16-11 come Halftime. Georgia Military College made their move in the 3rd Quarter, grabbing a 26-23 edge before winning it 33-30.

Iowa Western CollegeNUMBER TWO PREVAILS – The number 2 team in the nation – the IOWA WESTERN COLLEGE REIVERS – played host to the COFFEYVILLE COLLEGE RED RAVENS last night. The Reivers were chasing the Red Ravens 7-0 in the 1st Quarter before tying things up at 7-7 by the break. Iowa Western ruled the 2nd Half, outscoring Coffeyville 29-7 for a comfortable 36-14 triumph.

Hutchinson Blue DragonsTWELVE IN A ROW – The 5th ranked HUTCHINSON COLLEGE BLUE DRAGONS won their 12th straight season opener, this one on the road against the ELLSWORTH COLLEGE PANTHERS. A pick-6 gave the Panthers a quick 7-0 lead but the Blue Dragons stormed back to take a 20-7 advantage to end the 1st Quarter. That became a 27-13 lead at the Half and 34-13 in the 3rd Quarter before Hutchinson College put the game away 41-16.
