COLLEGE FOOTBALL RESULTS FROM NOVEMBER 8th

Getting a jump on the weekend …

Southeastern Fire helmet REALTHE FIRE THIS TIME – In the NAIA the 25th ranked SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY FIRE hosted the FAULKNER UNIVERSITY EAGLES (should be the Furies). A 13-10 1st Quarter edge for the Fire turned into a 16-13 lead for Faulkner U by Halftime. The 3rd Quarter ended with Southeastern University back on top 28-19 and from there the Fire won it 31-26.

Chowan HawksHAWKS FLYING HIGH – Over in NCAA Division Two the CHOWAN UNIVERSITY HAWKS took it on the road to face the SHAW UNIVERSITY BEARS. The Hawks trailed 14-13 in the 1st Quarter before grabbing a 20-14 advantage by the break. Chowan outscored the Bears 27-13 in the 2nd Half for an authoritative 47-27 victory.

Fairmont StateWHATEVER YOU WANT, THINK FAIRMONT – The FAIRMONT STATE FALCONS visited the WEST LIBERTY STATE HILLTOPPERS last night. The Falcons parlayed a 21-7 1st Quarter lead into a 35-14 Halftime advantage and never looked back from there. In the end Fairmont State totaled the Hilltoppers to the tune of SIXTY-ONE to TWENTY-EIGHT!

Virginia Union PanthersANOTHER ROAD WIN – A 3rd road win in a row to wrap up Thursday’s action. The VIRGINIA UNION UNIVERSITY PANTHERS traveled to take on the JOHNSON C SMITH UNIVERSITY GOLDEN BULLS. At the Half the Panthers led the Golden Bulls 30-6 before winning the game in a SIXTY to SIX manhandling!
