CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The title game in the USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association) was played between the 6th seeded PENN STATE AT DUBOIS NITTANY LIONS and the 2 seeds – the NEWPORT NEWS APPRENTICE SCHOOL BUILDERS.
The Builders forced this decisive game after defeating PSU-Dubois 4-3.
This game wasn’t nearly so tight. The Builders nobly fought through THREE games in one day, first bouncing Cleary University 1-0, then the 4-3 win over the Nittany Lions to force one more contest. PSU-Dubois clobbered NNAS 10-2 in that third game of the day. * PENN STATE AT DUBOIS WINS THE USCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP *
