Randall University Saints NEWCHAMPIONSHIP GAME – It was a Chalk Championship Game with the top two seeds facing each other. The 1 seeds – the two-time Defending Champions – the RANDALL UNIVERSITY SAINTS played the 2nd seeded BOB JONES UNIVERSITY BRUINS.

Points flew like shrapnel in the 1st Half, which ended with the Saints on top of the Bruins by a count of 52-44. After the break Bob Jones University came storming back and grabbed a 76-75 lead with roughly 6 minutes to play. Randall University refused to say die and rallied for an 86-84 victory led by Trey Sneed’s THIRTY points.  * THE SAINTS ARE NCCAA2 CHAMPIONS


Indiana East Red WolvesFINAL FOUR, FIRST BERTH – One of the 1 seeds – the INDIANA UNIVERSITY EAST RED WOLVES – did battle with the 3rd seeded BRIAR CLIFF UNIVERSITY CHARGERS.

The Red Wolves pulled out to a 41-33 Halftime lead over the Chargers. Both teams notched 35 points in the 2nd Half, making the final tally for the game Indiana University East 76  Briar Cliff University 68. Jaylen McKay tossed in 19 points to lead the Red Wolves.

Saint Francis (IN) Cougars logo BETTERFINAL FOUR, SECOND BERTH – This game saw the only loss by a 1 seed today as the 2nd seeded UNIVERSITY OF SAINT FRANCIS (IN) COUGARS upset the top seeded CORNERSTONE UNIVERSITY GOLDEN EAGLES.

The Cougars absolutely destroyed the Golden Eagles in the 1st Half, compiling a FIFTY-TWO to TWENTY-EIGHT advantage by the break. Cornerstone University did their best at pulling off a comeback in the 2nd Half but fell short as the University of Saint Francis moved on, 90-79. Bryce Lienhoop and Connor Lautzenheiser each put up 23 points to lead the Cougars.

Indiana Wesleyan WildcatsFINAL FOUR, THIRD BERTH – Another 1 versus 2 battle went the way of Chalk as the (1) INDIANA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY WILDCATS went up against the (2) MORNINGSIDE COLLEGE MUSTANGS.

The Wildcats notched 43 points in both the 1st and 2nd Half compared to the 26 and 42 scored by the Mustangs. Indiana Wesleyan University advanced to the Final Four with an 86-68 victory. Twenty-two points from Evan Maxwell led the Wildcats. 

college of idaho coyoteFINAL FOUR, LAST BERTH – The 1 seeded COLLEGE OF IDAHO COYOTES were all that stood between the world and an All-Hoosier State Final Four. The Coyotes did battle with the 6th seeded MARIAN UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS.

The College of Idaho proceeded to eliminate the Knights with extreme prejudice, suffocating them 33-23 in the opening Half and 42-24 in the 2nd Half. The Coyotes obliterated Marian University 75-47. Aziz Leeks of the College of Idaho led the winning effort with his 18 points.
