Welcome back to Balladeer’s Blog, as always coming to you from an America whose political system has been hijacked by two rival gangs of white collar criminals called Democrats and Republicans. My antipathy toward American Liberals and American Conservatives is well known so let’s all enjoy another critical look at these two groups. We’ll start with Liberals since they are more pompous and obnoxious at this particular point in history.
American Liberals are hilariously pretentious asses and they spend their lives in a constant state of thinking everyone they know is “becoming conservative”. When their friends show independent thought American Liberals fall to pieces because they’re incapable of individuality. They’re also terrified of facing the REAL issues so they instead wage battles that were already won long ago. That’s why they love to accuse everyone of (yawn) racism because EVERYBODY agrees racism is bad, it’s just that American Liberals see it even where it doesn’t exist.
The rest of us are aware of the changes in the world but Liberals live in the past and want to keep refighting the old fights while never acknowledging that progress has been made. To American Liberals every war is the Vietnam War and every disagreement among thinking adults is based on (yawn) racism or class struggles. They feel that the only reason anyone would realize what a failure Barack Obama has been as President MUST be because they’ve been brainwashed by opposition propoganda. I will say for the umpteenth time that American Liberals are so far behind they actually think they’re ahead.
Barack Obama embodies the tendency of American Liberals to live in the past, which is why dogmatic Liberals love him so much. He simple-mindedly views the 21st Century strictly in terms of the issues and conflicts of the 1960′s. This has made him beloved by 1960′s Liberals like Bill Ayers who must have been delighted to find someone younger than they were who had no mind of his own and who would unquestioningly embrace every single outdated opinion they’ve been “bitterly clinging to” (to use a phrase of Obama’s) for nearly five decades now.
Yes, their 1960′s worldview is nearly five decades old but American Liberals still like to pretend they’re the Young Turks in town pushing “really deep ideas” that nobody else has ever considered. To put this in perspective that would be like someone in the 1960′s pretending they were still cutting edge with a worldview formed in the first decade of the 20th Century. No wonder American Liberals of all ages always think anyone who is aware that history did not stop in 1969 is “becoming conservative.”
American Conservatives ALSO mistakenly think people are “becoming conservative” even when they’re not. Just because more and more people grow disgusted with how intolerant and sickeningly sanctimonious American Liberals are that does NOT mean they are becoming Conservatives. That’s why American Conservatives were so stunned by the 2012 election results.

Nice write up. Obama’s complete and utter incompetence is continually DOWNPLAYED by the media who will, and has, preferred to cover anything else than the problems that continue to face his administration. If it is addressed, you can sure bet the issues are handled with ‘kid gloves’ by the media. If anything, atleast the media are consistent.
It’s true that I think some Republicans were surprised by the Nov election results, not the least being Romney himself. The sheer lack of support that he got on the ticket is essentially a painful indication of the moral of the Repub party being at an all-time low. Especially when you consider, from what I understand, John McCain receiving millions of votes MORE than what Romney ended up totaling out with in the 2012 election. Sad.
Thanks. I agree about how they downplay Obama’s incompetence on a daily basis.
I can’t believe the Republicans have been so complacent about how far behind they fell in the Media Arms Race.It will take decades to dig themselves out of their cultural role as “the official Bad Guys no matter what happens”.
It’s true, and one hole I am not quite sure they can ever dig their way out of. Especially when you hear about people who major in journalism being frowned upon by their superiors and peers simply because they don’t share a blind devotion to the liberal mindset.
The culture of the american people, especially influenced by the media, has changed as well. As it’s quite evident, especially considering Obama, that charisma trumps years of credentials every single time.
Kinda reminds me of a lyric from a Talking Head song;
“And as things fell apart, nobody paid much attention.”
Gloomy but true. Especially about it being too deep a hole to climb out from now. The money and power people in the Republican party really let down their supporters by not keeping pace in terms of media outlets.
And lawsuits against journalism schools and other educational institutions for “viewpoint discrimination” should have started two decades ago, not now.
Agreed wholeheartedly. There’s definitely alot of catching up to do, but I believe it can be achieved in time. How much time is the $64,000 question …
To me, swaying more media outlets should be one of the very top priorities. As there are indeed people who are influenced by a leaning media (they were practically slobbering in ’08) simply due to the lack of knowledge about the issues, and even the politicians themselves. Turnout is another that severely needs attention. As the Dems getting their base to turn out in 2012 should be studied. That’s something Romney’s camp completely missed I think.
I could not agree more. All of their other problems tend to stem from the way they are so outnumbered in terms of media outlets.Nobody ever hears their real message, just the distorted version of their message distributed by their political opponents.
You put your close friends information for shipping address.
I agree.
Do you ever criticize conservatives?
Yes. Just as often as I criticize liberals. Just read around my blog.
Are they really this bad in America?
Yes, they are.
I am so grateful to find someone who attaks both liberals and conservatives.
I’m glad to do it!
Excellent! Liberals are such self-serving and self-congratulatory people!
I agree.
