Balladeer’s Bowl 4 is now complete and the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) once again reigns supreme. The GRAND VIEW UNIVERSITY VIKINGS, the NAIA football champions defeated the WHITEWATER WARHAWKS, the football champions of NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division 3. This marks the fourth straight year the NAIA has defeated NCAA D3.
All the votes are in with 56% of the voters believing the Vikings would win a game played between the two teams and 44% believing the Warhawks would get the victory. Here are the winners and runners-up in the three previous editions of Balladeer’s Bowl.
BALLADEER’S BOWL ONE –
Winner – CARROLL COLLEGE FIGHTING SAINTS (NAIA)
Runners-Up – WHITEWATER WARHAWKS (NCAA D3)
BALLADEER’S BOWL TWO –
Winner – SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY COUGARS (NAIA)
Runners-Up – WHITEWATER WARHAWKS (NCAA D3)
BALLADEER’S BOWL THREE –
Winner – MARIAN UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS (NAIA)
Runners-Up – UNIVERSITY OF MOUNT UNION PURPLE RAIDERS (NCAA D3)
NAIA sports is getting more and more love!
