BALLADEER’S BLOG: Would you like to start off by describing part of your training regimen?

DEBRA D’ANDREA – In general I workout six days a week, five lifting weights and one extra day of cardio.

BB: With workouts and maintaining your business how does that break down on a daily basis?

DD: My days are always different but I usually start out with my emails. Then about 10:30 or so I hit the gym for two hours, after that it depends if I have a session or if I have more computer work to do. Sometimes I have a late session between 5pm and 10pm. Plus I’m always working on generating new business and doing PR work.

BB: Regarding those sessions how is submission to Debra D’Andrea different from submission to any other Domme?

DD: My power, my charisma and my intensity are unforgettable. I make people addicted to every part of me.

BB: How long have you been active in the Power Exchange Community?

DD: I have been active at least twenty years.

BB: The oft-repeated refrain that Domination is not prostitution is still met with smiking skepticism in some quarters. How do you deal with that attitude when you encounter it?

DD: I enjoy what I do and feel that my job is a kind of therapy for a lot of people, so it should be considered helpful. I don’t see anything bad in it.

BB: What kind of fantasy sessions do you draw the line at?

DD: Any kind of session that may harm myself or someone else.

BB: Are you comfortable with pre-set scenarios or do you consider that to be “topping from the bottom”?

DD: I enjoy pre-set scenarios. However I prefer them to be where I play the dominant role. I really don’t like to be submissive unless it’s with that special someone.

BB: How do you handle the quandary of trying to inflict punishment on a sub who may actually relish the treatment that is meant to correct errant behavior?

DD: Well if any of my subs try to smile and show enjoyment I just punish where he has no choice but to back down and the smile disappears right away.

BB: Do you ever face violent rebellion from men who wind up being uncomfortable with their own scenario?

DD: No, because if they don’t cooperate we don’t do it.

BB: In real life do you prefer male or female lovers?

DD: I enjoy both males and females, but I prefer to have a male over a female.
