Tonight will see a new College World Series champion crowned in the NAIA (logo at left). The Cinderella team, the 9th-seeded Rogers State University Hillcats never met a team they didn’t upset in their 1st year making it all the way to the NAIA World Series. Their opponents will be the 4th-seeded Tennessee Wesleyan College Bulldogs who last night pulled off some upset magic of their own by toppling the top seeds in the Series, the LSU-Shreveport Pilots.
The NAIA’s championship game gets underway at 9:30pm ET. Keep checking back here at Balladeer’s Blog for results in that game plus College World Series results in the NJCAA and NCAA Division 2 as well.
