And for the main Frontierado post:

  1. I just wanted to say it publicly, on your blog, how much George and I love the saga your wrote for us. Thank you very much! I’m trying to pick my favourite bits, but it’s difficult because I like it all.
I love the way you use cross-references to link one saga to another. It works a treat in creating a ‘real’ world, governed by its own code of conduct, where everybody knows or have heard of each other. I can’t wait to see what other characters you’ll bring in.

Lady London is blushingly happy to have made a positive impression on Blackwater Kid 😉

  2. Well, thank you very much! That is very nice of you! You are always so kind-hearted and supportive and I really appreciate it! I hope you got a few laughs out of the “Dark Secret” of Ben Cartwright and the “real” meaning of Keanu’s first name.

Hey, the Blackwater Kid knows a quality bounty hunter when he sees one!

  3. LOL I had more than a few laughs all the way through. Poor Keanu…I’m not sure he’d be too pleased with the new ‘real’ meaning of his name 😀 As for dear Mr. B.C., I don’t think you could have come up with a darker secret than that…Beats CSI anytime! (and it’s a pretty good reason to break up with the family) 😉

  4. Glad you enjoyed those bits! Was I clear enough on the Johnny Depp/Robert “Freddie Krueger” Englund bits? I had Freddie the Kid “discover” and mentor Juniper Johnny because the very first Nightmare on Elm Street movie was the very first thing Johnny Depp ever appeared in.

    • I believe so. From one perfectionist to another, I admire your attention to detail, the connections you make and how everything falls in place like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. You don’t leave anything to chance, do you? How you manage to write these stories so quickly and so well, beats me.

I don’t know if everyone will ever get all of the connections you make in your sagas, simply because it’s unlikely that we can all equal your knowledge on the subject of films, history, etc. I think you should be teaching Film Studies at some posh university or college…But yeah, since I like Johnny Depp a lot and I happen to have seen the film, I did get the ‘bits’. 🙂

  5. I just read your story on Didi’s blog and stopped over to tell you how clever I thought it was! I loved all the details you got in there!

  6. Dude,

How could you do that to Ben Cartwright? I always thought he acted a little squirrelly, though if truth be told. Nicely done! Cheers!

  7. There is certainly a great deal to know about this issue.
I like all of the points you made.

  8. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
