For readers who are enjoying Balladeer’s Blog’s recent coverage of Women’s Intercollegiate Flag Football there are no scores to report today because the regular season ended last week. The playoffs begin on May 7th, so on the 8th I will have results to report on.
The WNBA is still in its preseason right now. The regular season begins on May 14th.

Good there’s Balladmaster to serve those wanting updates on these sports. Not caring at all for the non “W” sides of professional sports, it’s understandable I care less for the “W” side. We are over-hyped with professional sports, evidenced by grotesque salaries, admission fees, endorsement contracts, and elvation of sport figures to demigod status. To those who enjoy all of it, fine. Me, not so much. Keep at tit Balladman, there’s an obvious need and a grateful audience.
Thanks! We’ll see, I guess. I tried covering the WNBA several years ago but interest soon petered out. I’m giving it a second shot since there is so much attention to Caitlin Clark, but If interest dissipates again, I’ll stop again, I guess.
