USCAA FOOTBALL CHAMPS – The first college football championship of the 2015 season has been decided. The WILLIAMSON COLLEGE OF THE TRADES MECHANICS were last season’s runners- up and this year are the National Champions in the USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletics Association). This year’s runners- up are the NEWPORT NEWS APPRENTICE SCHOOL BUILDERS. For that old-school feel there is no championship game in the USCAA, just standings.
UPSET IN THE TOP TEN – On a Saturday that was almost all-chalk there was only one upset of a team ranked in the Top Ten of the various four-year divisions covered here at Balladeer’s Blog. In NCAA Division Two the 11th ranked MIDWESTERN STATE MUSTANGS traveled to face the number 8 team in the nation – the TEXAS A&M AT COMMERCE LIONS.
