FORGOTTEN TELEVISION – Paris (1979-1980) – James Earl Jones starred in Steven Bochco’s show about police detective Woody Paris HEREThe Witness (1960-1961) – Dramatized versions of how trials might have gone against figures like John Dillinger, Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, Mayor Jimmy Walker and more HERE.   The Devlin Connection (1982) – Rock Hudson plays a detective who works as a private investigator alongside his long-lost son Jack Scalia HERE.

DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS, JR.’s SWASHBUCKLER FILMS – The son of THE swashbuckler from Silent Movies appeared in several of his own, like The Corsican Brothers, Sinbad the Sailor, The Fighting O’Flynn and more. I reviewed all of them HERE.

MORE FORGOTTEN TELEVISION – The Young Rebels (1970-1971) – Teen warriors on the side of the American forces during the Revolutionary War, starring Louis Gossett, Jr. Click HERE, and Blue Light (1966) – A sophisticated spy series starring Robert Goulet on deadly adventures in Nazi Germany. THE TEXAS 27 FILM VAULT – I continued marking the 40th anniversary year of this 1985-1987 pre-MST3K Bad Movie Show. Star Spangled Rhythm (1942) HERE and Frogs (1972) HERE.

ROCK HUDSON’S SWASHBUCKLER MOVIES – This Hollywood titan managed to star in a few swashbucklers himself, like Sea Devils (1953), Captain Lightfoot (1955), The Golden Blade (1953) and Bengal Brigade (1954). I reviewed them all HERE.

ANCIENT SCIENCE FICTION: TRAVELS IN THE INTERIOR (1887) – A handful of people get reduced to nearly microscopic size, then become stranded inside a man’s body and must use scientific knowledge to navigate their way through his anatomy to reach freedom. Click HERE.

MISS LIBERTY: REVOLUTIONARY WAR SUPERHEROINE – DC’s neglected heroine introduced in a 1960s story. Click HERE.

    I found all these posts from the month of June interesting but the forgotten TV show “Paris” stood out most to me. I have always been a fan of the detective genre so I found this post very interesting.
