CENTURY CLUB – Teams scoring 100 or more points in Regulation: The BRISTOL COLLEGE BAYHAWKS shredded the visiting QUINSIGAMOND COLLEGE WYVERNS 115-62   ###   The OWENS COLLEGE EXPRESS won 100-74 at the LORAIN COUNTY COLLEGE COMMODORES   ###   And the NORTHERN ESSEX COLLEGE KNIGHTS defeated the UCONN AT AVERY POINT POINTERS 109-90.

ONE-POINT WONDER – The JEFFERSON COLLEGE CANNONEERS welcomed the FINGER LAKES COLLEGE LAKERS. A hard-fought opening Half ended with the Cannoneers up 35-31. From there the contest grew even tighter but Jefferson College held on for an 82-81 win. Owen Coall’s 20 points led the way, while fellow Cannoneer Brian Rivera logged a Double Double of 17 points and 11 rebounds.

TUSSLES IN TEXAS – The RICHLAND COLLEGE THUNDERDUCKS had a one-point affair of their own as they edged the MOUNTAIN VIEW COLLEGE LIONS 68-67   ###   Ditto for the NORTH LAKE COLLEGE BLAZERS in a 65-64 win over the EASTFIELD COLLEGE HARVESTERS   ###   And the DALLAS COLLEGE AT BROOKHAVEN BEARS won 86-70 at the CEDAR VALLEY COLLEGE SUNS. 

COMEBACK CAIMANS – In this game the HOSTOS COLLEGE CAIMANS played host to the NASSAU COUNTY COLLEGE LIONS. Halftime found the Lions on top 45-43, but the Caimans emerged from the locker room all business. Hostos College came back to win 78-75. Twenty-eight points from Tyrese Conway led the Caimans to victory.   

THE COOLER NAME WINS – The SUSSEX COUNTY COLLEGE SKYLANDERS took the court against the LACKAWANNA COLLEGE FALCONS and beat them 87-77   ###   Elsewhere, the RAINY RIVER COLLEGE VOYAGEURS downed the MNC-HIBBING CARDINALS 81-67   ###   And the ST. CLOUD TECHNICAL COLLEGE CYCLONES survived an 84-79 visit from the MINNESOTA WEST BLUEJAYS.

WORKING OVERTIME – The NORTHAMPTON COLLEGE SPARTANS traveled to face the UNION COLLEGE OWLS. The teams went basket for basket in the 1st Half for a 36-36 tie. The deadlock remained to end Regulation, but in the extra session the Spartans emerged with a 77-70 victory. Devin Geiger led with a Double Double of 23 points and 11 rebounds.

ROAD WARRIORS – The GOGEBIC COLLEGE SAMSONS won 84-73 at the ITASCA COLLEGE VIKINGS   ###   The RARITAN VALLEY COLLEGE LIONS smacked down their hosts the SULLIVAN COUNTY COLLEGE GENERALS 92-71   ###   And the JOLIET COLLEGE WOLVES triumphed 78-55 as they dominated the HARPER COLLEGE HAWKS on both sides of the ball.

UNDER THE RADAR CLASSIC – This hardcourt brouhaha pitted the QUINCY COLLEGE GRANITE against the visiting BUNKER HILL COLLEGE BULLDOGS. By the midpoint of the game the score stood at 41-41. After the break the Granite squeezed out some separation from Bunker Hill College to win the game 85-82. Shamar Browder tossed in 23 points to lead Quincy College.

HOME AND AWAY – This time around we’ll start with the Away score: The SANDHILLS COLLEGE FLYERS won 85-75 at the PAUL CAMP COLLEGE HURRICANES    ###    Meanwhile, for the Home portion of this topic, the DELAWARE COUNTY COLLEGE PHANTOMS welcomed the COLLEGE OF SOUTHERN MARYLAND HAWKS and obliterated them EIGHTY to FORTY-FIVE. 

SKEWERED – The COLLEGE OF RHODE ISLAND KNIGHTS did battle with the visiting MASSACHUSETTS BAY COLLEGE BUCCANEERS. The Knights seized control early on and led MassBay by a score of 43-34 at the Half. From there College of Rhode Island left the Bucs further and further behind in a 92-66 rout. THIRTY-ONE points from Jayden Desimone led the Knights.
