Great posts as always. I normally don’t take any interest in politics but I have always found your posts entertaining to read. In this post, the story about the transgender teacher lecturing students in high schools stood out to me. I think it’s a shocking story that shows how far America has come in LGBTQ rights. It reminded me a lot of movies set in high school that I have seen. For instance, it brought to mind the film “Eighth Grade”. A captivating coming-of-age drama, it tells the story of a teenage girl with anxiety facing struggle of eighth grade. There’s a scene where the teacher of her class raises uncomfortable questions about sexuality. It’s one of the best movies about adolescence that I have ever seen.
