indiana feverINDIANA WANTS THEM – The INDIANA FEVER (3-9) took it on the road against the WASHINGTON MYSTICS (0-11).

The Fever were on top 28-19 to end the 1st Quarter, but Washington cut that to a mere 42-40 edge at Halftime. After the break, the teams went blow for blow and basket for basket, with Indiana holding on for an 85-83 win. Rookie sensation CAITLIN CLARK led the Fever with THIRTY points, while her teammate NaLyssa Smith logged a Double Double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.

los angeles sparksBRIGHT SPARKS – The LOS ANGELES SPARKS (3-7) welcomed the DALLAS WINGS (3-6) in this game.

The opening Quarter saw the Sparks take a 23-20 lead. Dallas went up 44-38 to close out the 1st Half. The 3rd Quarter ended with the Wings in front 63-61 but Los Angeles roared back in the 4th for an 81-72 victory. The Sparks were led by Dearica Hamby with her Double Double of 22 points and 12 rebounds. L.A’s Cameron Brink had a Double Double of her own with 10 points and 10 rebounds. 

seattle stormSTORM FRONT – The SEATTLE STORM (7-3) paid a visit to the LAS VEGAS ACES (5-3).

Come Halftime the score was 36-28 in favor of the Storm. From there Seattle outscored the Aces 42-37 to win by a final tally of 78-65. Jewell Loyd’s 25 points led the Storm while two of her teammates notched Double Doubles – Ezi Magbegor went 14 & 15, and Nneke Ogwumike went 12 & 11.   

phoenix mercuryNAIL BITER – This game pitted the PHOENIX MERCURY (5-6) against the visiting MINNESOTA LYNX (7-3).

The Mercury held a mere 38-35 edge at the midpoint, followed by Minnesota grabbing a 60-54 lead in the 3rd Quarter. The 4th was a battle royal, with Phoenix defeating the Lynx 81-80. THIRTY-FOUR points from Kahleah Copper led the Mercury to victory.

new york libertySWEET LIBERTY – The NEW YORK LIBERTY (10-2) found themselves on the road against the CONNECTICUT SUN (9-1).

These two Eastern Conference teams were knotted up at the Half by a score of 39-39. After that, the 3rd Quarter ended with the Sun on top 60-57 and the 4th ended in an 82-75 Liberty triumph. Sabrina Ionescu tossed in 24 points to lead New York.   

atlanta dreamHOTLANTA – The ATLANTA DREAM (5-4) traveled to face the CHICAGO SKY (4-6) yesterday.

A 29-15 1st Quarter lead for the Dream became 51-39 at the midpoint. Atlanta got more separation from the Sky to lead them 72-57 going into the 4th Quarter. The final score was Dream 89  Chicago 80. Tina Charles led Atlanta with 22 points and her teammate Rhyne Howard registered a Double Double of 10 points & 10 rebounds.
