SETTING READERS’ MINDS AT EASE

Ed Piskor

Ed Piskor

The hubbub from Pittsburgh regarding comic book figure Ed Piskor has resulted in several of Balladeer’s Blog’s readers asking me some questions. I can put everybody’s minds at ease.

Not only had I never even heard of this guy before the allegations and screenshots regarding his alleged grooming and sexual misconduct with underaged girls became news this week, but I can assure everyone that I have NEVER done a blog post about any of this guy’s material.

So, for those who were alarmed, you can relax, because none of his work has ever been reviewed here at Balladeer’s Blog. If you enjoyed any of those articles, rest assured that none of them ever dealt with anything produced by Piskor.

  1. Never heard of him, but love how you’re on top of this.

  2. Which strikes me (new to the whole Libbie philosophy) a smidge unfair, no? Equal opportunity, unbiased journalism, and transparency, right? Please rethink your untoward (and previously absent) biases.

Geeze. Looks I am really going to have to broaden my newsfeed reach. Never heard of this.

    • Ha! Well, I wasn’t intentionally avoiding the guy, I just had never even heard of him and he doesn’t seem to have worked on any series of stories which I consider quality works. Like I often say, I will always have a soft spot for superhero stories because reading them as a kid served as a gateway to some of my adult passions like mythology and opera.
