(Heads down, eyes closed, a moment of petitioning our favorite deities for appearance of an alternate political dogma. Great posts as always. Once again I’ve never taken an interest in politics at all. However, I always find your posts very engaging to read. This post focusing on political corruption brings to mind many memorable movies about politics that I have seen. For instance, it reminded me of the film “The Mauritanian”. Based on a true story, it captured the life of a man that was wrongfully convicted of crimes that he did not commit in Guantanamo Bay’s prison. One of the best movies of 2021 that didn’t get the recognition that it deserves.
