Yes, it’s once again Guy Fawkes Day, the day Balladeer’s Blog celebrates figures who became symbols of the exact opposite things they represented in their actual lives!
Guy Fawkes was a religious fanatic whose face became a symbol of resistance against a fictional theocratic dictatorship thanks to a comic book. Che Guevara was a murderous, homophobic, racist would-be dictator depicted as a symbol of youthful rebellion thanks to the spiteful cluelessness of Left-Wing Archie Bunkers.

Read more of this animal’s own words and you will see what a callous, unfeeling political fanatic this hate-filled scumbag was. He never wanted to overthrow dictatorships to help “the people”, he just wanted to overthrow them to install dictatorships more to his liking.
In other words, dictatorships that would let that bloodthirsty maniac kill as many people as he wanted. Che Guevara was a waste of biomass and was the exact opposite of what delusional and uninformed fools consider him to have been.
Oh, and by the way, Guevara spent WAY too much time contemplating and writing about his own body odor.
Thanks to V For Vendetta, one of Alan Moore’s many overrated comic books, masks of Guy Fawkes have become associated with Moore’s fictional freedom fighter who opposed the aforementioned theocratic dictatorship in a dystopian future.
In reality Guy Fawkes was plotting to enable the institution of a theocratic dictatorship. And you can’t claim Moore was trying to be ironic by going with a mask of Guy Fawkes. In one of his interviews about V For Vendetta Moore mentions how he and the artist he was collaborating with decided they would give Guy Fawkes “the image he always deserved.”
That comment made it clear that they bought into the vague notion of Fawkes as some sort of heroic rebel. People who despise Guy Fawkes for what he really was can at least get plenty of laughs at Fawkes’ likely reaction if he knew what he has come to symbolize.

The “modern” left. One need not break a sweat to see how [pick one:] liberals;/political left/Democrats/educated loonies exemplify hatred – Harris, Tlaib, AOC, Omar, Byden*. It is astoundingly cool that as they spew their hatred they profess to be sane, caring, tolerant souls.
*The list is seemingly endless. Tempted to include such as rabid feminists, pro life and pro choice maggots, pro and anti “gun” morons, etc, I try to remind myself it is not a person’s [or group’s] stance on an “issue” that makes them love to hate; the left has not cornered the hatred market. people of all opinions manage to conduct themselves lawfully and humanely. It is the bad apples in the opinion barrels who eventually spoil the whole barrel. It is, I guess the fluoride in the water that makes some animals animals.
You nailed it with this heapin’ helping of wisdom this Sunday morning. As I’ve mentioned before I so often center on the left’s hatred because of their pompous, hypocritical way of acting like they are THE models of tolerance and compassion. Plus they spend their lives being mercilessly critical of so many historical figures but they are so willing to turn a blind eye to what Guevara really was.
Che Guevara IS the embodiment of a true revolutionist, and the Cuban revolution IS the embodiment of a true revolution. Revolutionaries – like radical Islamic terrorists – are single-minded in their purpose and tenacity. They will kill anybody who gets in their way. And they must kill all members of the old regime in order to obtain and maintain power. He was a trained doctor who suffered from severe asthma. It’s amazing that he survived his asthma attacks on the battlefield. He understood how to engage in guerilla warfare, something ALL terrorists understand but which seems to elude our own U.S. military. From that perspective, he IS a hero to social justice warriors who envision themselves as great warriors fighting for “the people.” He was a dedicated Communist, whereas Castro was not. Castro embraced Communism to appease the Soviets, who were supporting Cuba. Once the revolution was complete, however, neither Guevara or Castro understood how to set up a new society and all of its mundane systems and needs. The new regime continued the same totalitarian attitudes and practices as the Batista regime. This is typical of left-wing revolutions. The American Revolution was an exception, not the rule. This is why left-wing radicals have always been kept on the fringes of society. Their primary goal is POWER – not helping “the people.” Every time House Speaker Nancy Pelosi talked about “the people,” it made me gag because she could care less about ordinary people, and that seems to be true of most Democrats in public office. They use Communist lingo to deceive “the people.” Any American who supports Communism and radical Islamic terrorists should be shunned and immediately deported to Iran. These people have no cue how good they have it in the United States.
Yep, he embodies what THEY mean by revolutionaries. And I agree about how nauseating they are when they pretend to care about “the people.”
