Coffeyville Red Ravens helmetONE-POINT WONDER – The COFFEYVILLE COLLEGE RED RAVENS played host to the BUTLER (KS) GRIZZLIES in a true thriller. A 14-7 1st Quarter lead for the Grizzlies turned into a 16-14 edge for the Red Ravens by Halftime. The 3rd Quarter ended with Butler College back on top by a score of 21-16 and in the 4th Coffeyville outscored their opponents 13-7 for a 29-28 victory.

ASA Miami Silver StormSHUTOUTS – The ASA COLLEGE (FL) SILVER STORM paid a visit to the FIELD OF DREAMS SPORTS ACADEMY STALLIONS and struck them down by a commanding score of 28-0    ###     And the HOCKING COLLEGE HAWKS were less than gracious hosts to the SUSSEX COUNTY COLLEGE SKYLANDERS, drubbing them by a final tally of 25-0. 

Cisco College helmet BLUEWIN IT IN THE FOURTH – In this game the CISCO COLLEGE WRANGLERS took it on the road against the NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA A&M GOLDEN NORSEMEN. The Golden Norsemen were out in front 6-0 in the 1st Quarter and 13-0 by the Half. In the 3rd Quarter the Wranglers pulled to within 13-7 before coming from behind in the 4th to win it 17-16.

Independence Pirates helmetONE TEAM WAS PLAYING BASKETBALL – The INDEPENDENCE COLLEGE PIRATES keelhauled the home-standing HIGHLAND COLLEGE SCOTTIES to the tune of 68-10   ###   Meanwhile the NAVARRO COLLEGE BULLDOGS won a 69-31 massacre at the BLINN COLLEGE BUCCANEERS   ###   And the SNOW COLLEGE BADGERS annihilated the visiting HOHOKAM COLLEGE AT GILA RIVER HAWKS in a SEVENTY-FIVE to FOURTEEN laugher.   

Hutchinson Blue DragonsSOMEONE’S “O” HAD TO GO – Two undefeated teams – the HUTCHINSON COLLEGE BLUE DRAGONS and their guests the GARDEN CITY COLLEGE BRONCBUSTERS – clashed. The Blue Dragons seized a quick 10-0 advantage in the opening Quarter, with the Broncbusters making it a 17-7 score by Halftime. After a scoreless 3rd Quarter Hutchinson College improved to 4-0 with a 23-7 triumph while Garden City fell to 4-1.

Iowa Western CollegeHAPPY HOMESTANDS – The IOWA WESTERN COLLEGE REIVERS welcomed their in-state rivals the IOWA CENTRAL COLLEGE TRITONS and emerged with a comfortable 37-14 victory    ###    And the TRINITY VALLEY COLLEGE CARDINALS trailed the visiting NEW MEXICO MILITARY INSTITUTE BRONCOS (should be the Cavalry) 19-17 at the Half but came back to win the game 42-32. 

Kilgore CollegeROAD WARRIORS – This game pitted the KILGORE COLLEGE RANGERS against their hosts, the TYLER COLLEGE APACHES. A 14-6 1st Quarter lead for the Rangers became 21-6 by the midpoint. After the break a scoreless 3rd Quarter was followed by a 4th which saw Kilgore College put away the Apaches by a final count of 35-13.
