OTHER UPSETS IN THE RANKINGS – The VANGUARD UNIVERSITY LIONS traveled to face the 18th ranked HOPE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY ROYALS and defeated them in a 62-61 Instant Classic ### And the CENTRAL CHRISTIAN COLLEGE OF KANSAS TIGERS notched a 78-75 Upset of the home-standing (19) TEXAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY RAMS.
CENTURY CLUB – Teams scoring 100 points or more in Regulation: The UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & ARTS OF OKLAHOMA DROVERS visited the SOUTHWESTERN CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY EAGLES and knocked them off 102-92 ### And the WAYLAND BAPTIST UNIVERSITY PIONEERS utterly annihilated the visiting BACONE COLLEGE WARRIORS to the tune of 104-47.
WORKIN’ OVERTIME – The EVANGEL UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS took the court against their guests the MOUNT MERCY UNIVERSITY MUSTANGS and edged them in Overtime 91-89 ### And the (22) SOUTHWESTERN ASSEMBLIES OF GOD UNIVERSITY LIONS snuck past the visiting LANGSTON UNIVERSITY LIONS 97-94 in the extra session.
A WIN FOR THE MORTAR AND PESTLE – The SAINT LOUIS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY EUTECTICS welcomed the WILLIAM WOODS UNIVERSITY OWLS yesterday. By the Half the Eutectics were on top 42-31, and from there they held the Owls at arm’s length for an 87-80 triumph. Darius Dorsey tossed in 21 points to lead Saint Louis College of Pharmacy.

KNOCKING OFF NUMBER EIGHT – The LINCOLN CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY RED LIONS played host to the number 8 team in the nation, the WASHINGTON ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY SHOCK. The Red Lions put the Shock on Upset Alert by Halftime with a 38-35 advantage, then consummated the deal by defeating their guests 88-77. Garrett Aeilts led Lincoln Christian U with 21 points while his teammate AJ Field logged a Double-Double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.
OTHER UPSETS IN THE RANKINGS – The 18th ranked GRACE COLLEGE LANCERS took on the visiting tied-for-8th MARIAN UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS and toppled them 98-83 ### Meanwhile the UNIVERSITY OF NORTHWESTERN OHIO RACERS offed the number 22 MADONNA UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS 75-66 ### And the DICKINSON STATE BLUE HAWKS brought down the 24th ranked MAYVILLE STATE COMETS by a count of 75-65.
CENTURY CLUB – Teams scoring 100 points or more in Regulation: The (16) OKLAHOMA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY EAGLES smacked down the AVILA UNIVERSITY EAGLES (formerly the Avalanche) 101-74 ### And the NORTHWEST (WA) UNIVERSITY EAGLES dispatched the CORBAN UNIVERSITY WARRIORS by a final score of 103-83.
KEELHAULIN’ – The CAL MARITIME KEELHAULERS took it on the road against the EMBRY-RIDDLE AERONAUTICAL UNIVERSITY (AZ) EAGLES (should be the Aeronauts). In a scoring oddity, the Keelhaulers put up 31 points in both Halves while the Eagles notched 27 points in each as Cal Maritime won it 62-54. Zavier Lucero led the victors with his Double-Double of 16 points and 16 rebounds.
THE COOLER NAME WINS – The VITERBO UNIVERSITY V-HAWKS won 80-70 at the DAKOTA STATE TROJANS ### The INDIANA UNIVERSITY SOUTHEAST GRENADIERS smacked around their hosts the CARLOW UNIVERSITY CELTICS 85-60 ### Meanwhile the (13) LOURDES UNIVERSITY GRAY WOLVES won a 76-56 road game against the UNIVERSITY OF AKRON’S WAYNE COLLEGE WARRIORS ### And the DORDT COLLEGE DEFENDERS defeated the DOANE TIGERS 75-69.
