    I missed this the first time around. I always thought this was a really cool song, and I like Colin Hay’s solo stuff. Thanks!

    • Great! Colin Hay’s solo version of this song always reminds me of that episode of Scrubs where he played it.

        I think those scenes of Colin Hay playing in various places like the closet and outside the hospital were brilliant, and made me think more about what that song was about. The episode somewhat renewed my interest in his music. I’d bet it did a lot to reinvigorate his career.

      • I agree. The slower pace of his solo version as it played over the characters’ conflicts with each other reflected the lyrics better than the original music video of the song when he was still with Men at Work.
