   This version is probably the most handsomely mounted of the various versions of a Christmas Carol. The set is HUGE! While the movie may have skimped on some of the great dialogue, the detail and craftiness of the setting help to make up for it.

   And who can forget “Thank You Very Much,” one of the most deliciously dark musical numbers ever filmed?

     I know how you feel. And at least Thank You Very Much gets to go out with a much lighter version at the end.
