SONG: CLEAN UP YOUR ACT FROM AN ALL DOGS CHRISTMAS CAROL (1998)

Yes, it’s another isolated song from a version of A Christmas Carol which I have previously reviewed in its entirety. From An All Dogs Christmas Carol it’s Clean Up Your Act as the Scrooge stand-in (Carface Caruthers) begs the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come to give him some hope.

I’ve never seen this Carol variation. I may check it out, but if I do, it’ll probably be in parts.

    • This one is largely a waste of time except for the portion in which the dog ghosts subject Carface to visions from Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. My review of this one mentioned how the real Christmas Carol part of the story is stuck inside a larger tale about a giant magic dog bone. The ghosts convince Carface to help them by way of the Christmas Carol visits.

So, if you cut straight to that part and stop after Carface has his morning-after conversion that will save you a lot of time.

Hmm. I’d better keep that in mind. Especially since I don’t quite see what all the hubub is about “All Dogs Got to Heaven” anyway. Don Bluth’s done plenty better.
Did you get my email from yesterday, by the way?

      • I know how you feel about All Dogs Go To Heaven. I think Oliver and Company is a bit overrated, too.

I will check and see about your email to see where it is.

  2. I wish they didn’t interrupt the song so much!
