GAME ONE: The INDIANA FEVER hosted the ATLANTA DREAM to tip off the evening. This was a closely contested affair and by Halftime the Fever were clinging to a 33-31 lead.
After the break Indiana slowly but surely put more and more distance between themselves and the Dream, ultimately winning the game by a final score of 85-74. Erica Wheeler led the Fever with 20 points.
GAME TWO: The LOS ANGELES SPARKS battled the visiting SAN ANTONIO SILVER STARS, who were still searching for their first win of the season.
The Sparks seemed to be breezing toward another win with a 46-26 lead at the break. From there, however, Los Angeles had to hold tight to withstand a furious comeback attempt by the Silver Stars. The Sparks survived by a count of 80-75. Candace Parker tossed in 20 points to lead the way.
