RED RIVER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

LSU-Alexandria GeneralsCHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This title tilt pitted the top seeds – the LSU-ALEXANDRIA GENERALS – against the 3rd seeded LANGSTON UNIVERSITY LIONS.

The Generals were in danger come Halftime, trailing the Lions by a score of 46-42. Following the break LSU-Alexandria came storming from behind and won the game 90-87. Jordin Williams put up 19 points to lead the Generals while his teammate Brandon Moss recorded a Double Double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. * THE GENERALS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE RRAC TOURNAMENT *  

SOONER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

USAO Drover newCHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Two Cinderellas were still dancing in the SAC tourney: the 4th seeded UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND ARTS OF OKLAHOMA DROVERS and the 6 seeds – the OKLAHOMA CITY UNIVERSITY STARS.

The Stars were on top of the Drovers 47-42 at the break but the 2nd Half saw USAO overtake Oklahoma City University for a 93-90 triumph. Seven different players scored for the Drovers, led by Taran Buie and Imani Edwards who tossed in 24 points each. * THE DROVERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE SAC TOURNAMENT

SOUTHERN STATES ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

dalton state roadrunnersCHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This league’s battle for the crown came down to the 2 seeds – the DALTON STATE ROADRUNNERS – and the top seeded WILLIAM CAREY UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS.

After a back and forth opening Half the Crusaders went into the locker room with a 35-32 edge. The Roadrunners came out for the 2nd Half primed to beep-beep their way out in front and won by a final tally of 90-80. Sayvon Wilson led the way for Dalton State with his 22 points. * THE ROADRUNNERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE SSAC TOURNAMENT *
