CALIFORNIA PACIFIC CONFERENCE – CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The top seeded CAL MARITIME ACADEMY KEELHAULERS continued their dynasty, winning another conference title. This time the Keelhaulers (how can you not like that name) defeated the LA SIERRA COLLEGE GOLDEN EAGLES in Overtime by a score of 90-86. * THE KEELHAULERS ARE CAL PAC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS *
KANSAS COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE – CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – It was a battle of cool-named teams in the championship game for the KCAC. The 1 seeds – the TABOR COLLEGE BLUE JAYS – squared off against the 2nd seeded SOUTHWESTERN COLLEGE MOUNDBUILDERS and won by a final score of 75-68. Along the way the Blue Jays also eliminated Bethel (KS) College and Friends University. * THE BLUE JAYS ARE KCAC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS *
NORTH STAR ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION – CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The last two teams standing in the NSAA Tournament were the 3rd seeded DAKOTA STATE TROJANS and the 4 seeds – the UNIVERSITY OF JAMESTOWN JIMMIES. The Trojans moved on to the Big Dance with a 79-65 victory. Along the way Dakota State also bounced Waldorf College and Mayport State. * THE TROJANS ARE NORTH STAR TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS *
THE SUN CONFERENCE – SEMIFINALS – The 2 seeds – the WARNER UNIVERSITY ROYALS – advanced to the championship game with an 87-57 blowout win over the 3rd seeded SAINT THOMAS (FL) UNIVERSITY BOBCATS. ### And in the top spot the KEISER UNIVERSITY SEAHAWKS moved on at the expense of the 4th seeded JOHNSON & WALES (FL) WILDCATS, whom they defeated by a final count of 79-58. It’s Royals vs Seahawks for the conference crown!
WOLVERINE- HOOSIER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE – CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The top two seeds in this conference battled it out for the 2016 title. The 1 seeds – the DAVENPORT UNIVERSITY PANTHERS took the court against the 2nd seeded CORNERSTONE UNIVERSITY GOLDEN EAGLES (the reigning national champions). The Panthers clipped the wings of the Golden Eagles to the tune of 79-69. Along the way DU wiped out Sienna Heights University and Aquinas College. * THE PANTHERS ARE WHAC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS *
