HELMETCampbellsville_KYNUMBER THREE TAKES A FALL – The NAIA’s CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY TIGERS took it on the road against the number 3 team in the nation – the FAULKNER UNIVERSITY EAGLES (should be the Furies). This was a true game for the ages but in the end the Tigers prevailed by a final score of 59-50.

mcmurry warhawks helmetMCMURRY STUNS DIVISION TWO – The NCCAA’s MCMURRY UNIVERSITY WAR HAWKS traveled to face the NCAA Division TWO team the LINCOLN (MO) UNIVERSITY BLUE TIGERS. In what was a truly unexpected result the War Hawks didn’t just win – they absolutely hammered the Blue Tigers. When all the dust had settled in this resounding upset the final tally was McMurry University 34  Lincoln University 14.  

Florida Tech Panthers helmetNEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK – NCAA Division Two’s FLORIDA TECH PANTHERS are still in the first few years of their football program. The 6th ranked DELTA STATE STATESMEN are perennial powers and former D2 national champions. On Saturday the Panthers put the entire Gulf South Conference on notice by dragging down the Statesmen 41-37 in their own house.

Williamson Trade HelmetMECHANICS WITH THE SHUTOUT – The WILLIAMSON TRADE SCHOOL MECHANICS from the USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association) got revenge for a tight loss last year to the Division One GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY PATRIOTS. This year it was all Mechanics as Williamson – led by Head Coach Dan Drake – manhandled their guests in a FORTY-SEVEN to NOTHING massacre.

Pearl River College Wildcats helmetDOWN GOES NUMBER ONE – The NJCAA’s PEARL RIVER COLLEGE WILDCATS paid a visit to the top ranked COPIAH-LINCOLN COLLEGE WOLFPACK on Homecoming. The Wildcats stunned the Wolfpack 17-9 and notched their first take-down of a number 1 team since 2004 when they defeated Butler (KS) for the National Championship.  

Lackawanna College Falcons helmetEIGHTY-TWO POINTS – In the NJCAA the number 20 LACKAWANNA COLLEGE FALCONS battled the visiting ERIE COLLEGE KATS. The Falcons parlayed a modest 6-3 1st Quarter advantage into a 30-10 Halftime lead and ultimately a dazzling EIGHTY-TWO to TEN final score. Lackawanna College Quarterback Andrew Ford passed for 236 yards and 4 Touchdowns.

St Francis (IN)NAIA – Outside of the Campbellsville over Faulkner game there was only one upset in the NAIA’s Top Twenty-Five yesterday. The 11th ranked UNIVERSITY OF SAINT FRANCIS (IN) COUGARS took the field against the homestanding number six team – the MARIAN UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS. The Cougars toppled the Knights in a spellbinding 45-42 Instant Classic. 

Midwestern State MustangsNCAA DIVISION TWO – The MIDWESTERN STATE MUSTANGS handed the 10th ranked ANGELO STATE RAMS a 29-20 loss in front of their own home crowd     ###      Meanwhile the number 23 OUACHITA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY TIGERS held serve against the visiting 13th ranked HARDING UNIVERSITY BISON by a score of 26-21     ###      And the CHARLESTON UNIVERSITY GOLDEN EAGLES upset the number 22 CONCORD UNIVERSITY MOUNTAIN LIONS 29-21 Thursday night.

HELMETOHIONORTHERNNCAA DIVISION THREE – The OHIO NORTHERN UNIVERSITY POLAR BEARS mounted a 4th Quarter comeback to defeat their hosts the (11) JOHN CARROLL UNIVERSITY BLUE STREAKS in a 30-27 game for the ages     ###      The UTICA COLLEGE PIONEERS toppled the (19) ITHACA COLLEGE BOMBERS 30-27 in Overtime     ###      Meanwhile the CONCORDIA (Moorhead) COBBERS managed a 23-21 upset of the (2o) BETHEL (MN) ROYALS     ###      And the WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY GENERALS shocked the (23) GUILFORD COLLEGE QUAKERS 20-17.  

Monroe College Mustangs helmetNJCAA – The MONROE COLLEGE MUSTANGS made their case to be ranked in the next poll by utterly demolishing their guests – the 15th ranked GLOBE TECH KNIGHTS – by a final score of 35-14     ###      And the ARIZONA WESTERN COLLEGE MATADORS traveled to face the number 18 PIMA COLLEGE AZTECS and doubled up on them by a count of 20-10.     

Santa Rosa Bear CubsCCCAA – The SANTA ROSA COLLEGE BEAR CUBS invaded the home of the number 6 COLLEGE OF THE SEQUOIAS GIANTS and obliterated them in a FORTY-FOUR to NOTHING laugher     ###      Meanwhile the (9) CITY COLLEGE OF SAN FRANCISCO RAMS upset the homestanding (7) MODESTO COLLEGE PIRATES by a score of 41-27     ###      And the DE ANZA COLLEGE DONS dispatched their guests the (11) LANEY COLLEGE EAGLES in a 24-14 affair.

Morningside MustangsWHEN RANKED TEAMS CLASH – The (4) MORNINGSIDE COLLEGE MUSTANGS were on the road against the (15) NORTHWESTERN (IA) COLLEGE RED RAIDERS and handed them a 27-7 smackdown defeat     ###      And the (8) BAKER UNIVERSITY WILDCATS routed the visiting (20) PERU STATE BOBCATS by a final tally of 35-10.

Arizona Christian Univ helmet GOODFIRESTORM OVER TEXAS – The ARIZONA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY FIRESTORM had traveled to face the WAYLAND BAPTIST UNIVERSITY PIONEERS yesterday. The Firestorm played their best football of the season so far and were able to go back home with a win. The final score in this thrilling game was Arizona Christian University 36  Wayland Baptist University 24.

Bethany SwedesHOW SWEDE IT IS! – The BETHANY COLLEGE SWEDES took it on the road against the UNIVERSITY OF SAINT MARY SPIRES in an All-Name Game. The Swedes got off the schneid for the 2015 season with a victory over their hosts. When all the dust had settled in this nailbiting gridiron clash the final score was Swedes 18  Spires 16. 

Ave Maria University Gyrenes helmet NEWTHIRD STRAIGHT FOR GYRENES – The AVE MARIA UNIVERSITY GYRENES improved to 3-2 with a victory over the visiting CONCORDIA (AL) HORNETS from the USCAA. This was a very odd game. After a scoreless opening Quarter the Gyrenes led 6-0 at Halftime, then scored a Field Goal and a Safety in the 3rd and 4th Quarters respectively for an 11-0 shutout victory. Ave Maria U Quarterback Bob Orban threw for 145 yds and a TD.

Bacone WarriorsUNDER THE RADAR CLASSICS – The BACONE COLLEGE WARRIORS were on the road against football newcomers the LYON COLLEGE SCOTS. The Warriors won this edge-of- your seat masterpiece by a final score of 37-35.     ###     And the CUMBERLAND UNIVERSITY BULLDOGS surprised their hosts UNIVERSITY OF PIKEVILLE BEARS, defeating them 37-33. 

Reinhardt U Eagles helmetALZHEIMERS AWARENESS DAY – The (14) REINHARDT UNIVERSITY EAGLES visited the BLUEFIELD COLLEGE RAMBLING RAMS on Alzheimers Awareness Day. The Eagles dominated on both sides of the ball in this game and pushed the Rambling Rams all over the field. In the end Reinhardt University wound up with an EIGHTY to FOURTEEN blowout win.

Mayville State CometsONE POINT WONDER – The MAYVILLE STATE COMETS played Road Warriors yesterday, spoiling Homecoming for the VALLEY CITY STATE VIKINGS in the textbook definition of a heartbreaker. The Comets eked out a 14-13 victory.     ###      On the flip side the DAKOTA STATE TROJANS had a happy Homecoming as they decimated the TRINITY BIBLE COLLEGE LIONS 60-6.

Graceland Yellow Jackets helmetWE WENT TO A FOOTBALL GAME BUT A BASEBALL GAME BROKE OUT INSTEAD – The NAIA game that won this distinction for the week was the battle between the GRACELAND UNIVERSITY YELLOW JACKETS and the homestanding EVANGEL UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS. The Yellow Jackets ruined Homecoming for the Crusaders with a 6-3 victory.

Jamestown College JimmiesKINGS OF THE ROAD – The JAMESTOWN COLLEGE JIMMIES hope to turn their season around after their 28-21 win at the PRESENTATION COLLEGE SAINTS     ###      Meanwhile the SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY FIRE incinerated the EDWARD WATERS COLLEGE TIGERS 54-13     ###      And the ST AMBROSE UNIVERSITY FIGHTING BEES stung the TRINITY INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY TROJANS to the tune of 41-13.  

Hastings BroncosHAPPY HOMECOMINGS – The HASTINGS COLLEGE BRONCOS, where THE Tom Osborne played his college ball, celebrated Homecoming with a 44-31 triumph over the BRIAR CLIFF UNIVERSITY CHARGERS     ###      And the (21) KANSAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY COYOTES marked Homecoming with a 48-7 devastation of the MCPHERSON COLLEGE BULLDOGS (should be the Mastiffs).

Ferris State BulldogsRANKED TEAMS IN CLOSE CALLS – The (2) FERRIS STATE BULLDOGS held on to survive a road trip against the FINDLAY UNIVERSITY OILERS by a score of 42-39     ###      Meanwhile the (12) PITTSBURG (KS) GORILLAS edged the visiting MISSOURI WESTERN GRIFFONS 31-27     ###      And the (21) EMPORIA STATE HORNETS won a 20-13 battle royal at the LINDENWOOD UNIVERSITY LIONS.  

Mckendree Bearcats helmetBEARCAT ON BEARCAT VIOLENCE – The MCKENDREE UNIVERSITY BEARCATS took the field against the visiting SOUTHWEST BAPTIST UNIVERSITY BEARCATS yesterday. The game was virtually all McKendree University as it turned out. The final score in this blowout was MU 38 and SBU 13. 

Southeastern Oklahoma Savage StormWE WENT TO A FOOTBALL GAME BUT A BASEBALL GAME BROKE OUT – The SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA STATE SAVAGE STORM played host to the SOUTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA STATE BULLDOGS and defeated them 8-0     ###      And the FAIRMONT STATE FALCONS won a 6-0 game at the URBANA UNIVERSITY BLUE KNIGHTS. 

Central_WashingtonUNDER THE RADAR CLASSICS – The CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY WILDCATS were in a road catfight with the AZUSA PACIFIC UNIVERSITY COUGARS. The Wildcats won the game 24-21.     ###      Meanwhile the ALDERSON- BROADDUS UNIVERSITY BATTLERS won a 27-20 battle at the FT VALLEY STATE WILDCATS     ###      And the WEST LIBERTY STATE HILLTOPPERS defeated the homestanding WEST VIRGINIA WESLEYAN BOBCATS 38-31.  

Northwood UHOME STANDS – The NORTHWOOD (MI) UNIVERSITY TIMBERWOLVES played host to the WALSH UNIVERSITY CAVALIERS and defeated them in a 16-7 affair     ###      And the UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT PEMBROKE BRAVES took the field against the TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY GOLDEN TIGERS and sent them home nursing a 29-17 loss.    

Quincy Hawks helmetTWO POINT WONDERS – The QUINCY UNIVERSITY HAWKS engaged in a gridiron epic with the visiting SAINT JOSEPH’S COLLEGE PUMAS. The Hawks managed an 18-16 victory.     ###      And the NORTHERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY WILDCATS won a 36-34 squeaker against their guests the SAGINAW VALLEY STATE CARDINALS.

Southern Arkansas Muleriders helmetIT’S A SOUTHERN THING – The SOUTHERN ARKANSAS UNIVERSITY MULERIDERS traveled to take on the SOUTHERN NAZARENE UNIVERSITY CRIMSON STORM. The Muleriders can’t drive 55 but they can certainly score 55 and did so, putting up 55 points to the 20 that were mustered by the Crimson Storm.

West Virginia State Yellow Jackets helmetROAD WARRIORS – The WEST VIRGINIA STATE YELLOW JACKETS won a 52-45 battle royal at the UVA-WISE HIGHLAND CAVALIERS     ###     Meanwhile the ALBANY STATE GOLDEN RAMS notched a road win over the MILES COLLEGE GOLDEN BEARS by a score of 29-16     ###      And the SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT OWLS triumphed over the STONEHILL SKYHAWKS 28-17.

Oklahoma Baptist University helmetDOUBLING UP ON THE COMPETITION – The NCCAA’s OKLAHOMA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY BISON welcomed the UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS AT MONTICELLO BOLL WEEVILS. The Bison were able to get off the schneid for 2015 in grand style, absolutely dominating the Boll Weevils and doubling their offensive output in a 56-28 beatdown.

Point University good helmetROAD WARRIORS – The POINT UNIVERSITY SKYHAWKS took it on the road against the WARNER UNIVERSITY ROYALS. This matchup was all Skyhawks all the time as the team from West Point, GA demolished the Royals. By the time this one-sided battle was over and done with Point University had won by a final score of 48-21.

Northwestern (MN) helmetNCCAA OVER USCAA – The NCCAA’s UNIVERSITY OF NORTHWESTERN (MN) EAGLES hosted the USCAA’s defending champions – the IOWA WESLEYAN COLLEGE TIGERS. The Eagles led the Tigers 14-0 in the 1st Quarter and never looked back on their way to a FIFTY-SEVEN to SEVEN evisceration. Northwestern RB Zac Cash accounted for 3 Touchdowns.

Shorter HawksHAWKS IN FLIGHT – The SHORTER UNIVERSITY HAWKS visited the MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE CHOCTAWS in an NCCAA clash. The Hawks went back home boasting a 42-23 beatdown of the Choctaws.     ###      And the CHOWAN UNIVERSITY HAWKS likewise notched a road win by a much tighter score of 27-24 over the WINSTON-SALEM STATE RAMS.

North Greenville CrusadersBLOWOUTS – The NORTH GREENVILLE UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS found themselves on the road against the MARS HILL UNIVERSITY LIONS and smacked them around by a score of 38-14     ###      And the SOUTHWESTERN ASSEMBLIES OF GOD UNIVERSITY LIONS totaled their hosts the TEXAS COLLEGE STEERS 49-10.  

Georgetown (KY) TigersNAIA OVER NCCAA – It was SIDS Awareness Day for the GEORGETOWN (KY) COLLEGE TIGERS as they welcomed the NCCAA’s KENTUCKY CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS. The Knights had a very rough day as the Tigers dominated from start to finish. Georgetown College won the game with a 37-0 demonstration of defensive perfection.

Linfield WildcatsRANKED TEAMS IN SHUTOUTS – The (3) LINFIELD COLLEGE WILDCATS annihilated the homestanding LEWIS & CLARK COLLEGE PIONEERS by a score of 73-0     ###      Meanwhile the (8) WABASH COLLEGE LITTLE GIANTS blanked the visiting HIRAM COLLEGE TERRIERS 38-zip     ###      And the (9) UNIVERSITY OF SAINT THOMAS TOMMIES crushed the SAINT OLAF COLLEGE OLES to the tune of 54-0.  

Finlandia Lions helmetFINLANDIA MAKES HISTORY – The FINLANDIA UNIVERSITY LIONS notched their first ever gridiron win in this debut season for their football team. The Lions played host to the MARANATHA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY SABERCATSand led wire to wire. A 6-0 1st Quarter lead became 12-7 at the Half and finally a 30-14 win for the record books! Congratulations, Finlandia!

St Norbert College Green KnightsGREEN KNIGHTS STAY PERFECT – The SAINT NORBERT COLLEGE GREEN KNIGHTS improved to 4-0 against their guests the CORNELL (IA) COLLEGE RAMS. A Field Goal represented the only points that the Green Knights’ defense gave up in this game while their offense put up 10 points in the 1st Quarter followed by a Touchdown in each remaining Quarter. Saint Norbert College won 31-3.

Coe KohawksBATTLE OF FICTIONAL HAWKS – The COE COLLEGE KOHAWKS traveled to play their annual game against the LORAS COLLEGE DUHAWKS. The Kohawks seized a 6-0 1st Quarter lead and expanded that to a 23-7 advantage by Halftime. In the 4th Quarter Coe had to hold on against a 20-point rally by the Duhawks. The final score was Kohawks 30  Duhawks 27.  

Lebanon Valley College helmetWORKING OVERTIME – The LEBANON VALLEY COLLEGE FLYING DUTCHMEN triumphed over the visiting LYCOMING COLLEGE WARRIORS in a 41-38 Overtime clash     ###      The RIPON COLLEGE REDHAWKS won in Overtime 37-36 after a missed PAT by the ILLINOIS COLLEGE BLUE BOYS     ###      And the (22) CORTLAND STATE RED DRAGONS managed a 48-45 OT victory against the HARTWICK COLLEGE HAWKS.

Denison Big Red helmetWE WENT TO A FOOTBALL GAME BUT A BASEBALL GAME BROKE OUT – The DENISON UNIVERSITY BIG RED tangled with the homestanding OHIO WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY BATTLING BISHOPS and won a 10-9 defensive struggle.     ###      And the AUGUSTANA (IL) VIKINGS defeated the visiting ELMHURST COLLEGE BLUE JAYS 9-3. 

Delaware AggiesROAD BLOWOUT – The DELAWARE VALLEY COLLEGE AGGIES found themselves in Madison, NJ visiting the FDU-FLORHAM DEVILS. A 13-7 1st Quarter edge for the Aggies turned into a 20-7 count at the Half and ultimately a 40-7 blistering of the Red Devils. Delaware Valley Running Back Robert Cleveland rushed for 162 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

Huntingdon Hawks helmetUNDER THE RADAR CLASSICS – The HUNTINGDON COLLEGE HAWKS welcomed the NORTH CAROLINA WESLEYAN BATTLING BISHOPS and managed a nailbiting 45-40 victory over them     ###      And the ALBION COLLEGE BRITONS won a 21-20 road game against the HOPE COLLEGE FLYING DUTCHMEN.  

Dubuque Spartans helmetSPARTANS WITH SIXTEEN – The UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE SPARTANS came back from a 7-3 Halftime deficit to defeat their guests the LUTHER COLLEGE NORSE by a score of 16-14     ###      And the AURORA UNIVERSITY SPARTANS held serve against the ROCKFORD UNIVERSITY REGENTS in a 16-8 affair.

Brockport State helmetDIVISION THREE OVER THE USCAA – The BROCKPORT STATE GOLDEN EAGLES took the field against the USCAA’s ALFRED STATE PIONEERS on Saturday. The Golden Eagles went up 21-0 in the opening Quarter and never looked back on their way to an impressive FIFTY-NINE to SEVEN mangling of the Pioneers.  

Lakeland College Muskies helmetA TALE OF TWO MUSKIES TEAMS – The LAKELAND COLLEGE MUSKIES mustered a 15-13 road win against the WISCONSIN LUTHERAN COLLEGE WARRIORS     ###      And the MUSKINGUM UNIVERSITY MUSKIES fell to the visiting BALDWIN WALLACE UNIVERSITY YELLOW JACKETS by a score of 34-28.

ASA CollegeAVENGERS TAKE LONGLEY FIELD – The ASA COLLEGE (NY) AVENGERS were on the road against the DEAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS at Longley Field. After a scoreless 1st Quarter the Avengers led the Bulldogs 16-2 at Halftime. The teams exchanged a Touchdown apiece in the 3rd and 4th Quarters as ASA College won the game 23-9. Avengers RB Deon Tidwell rushed for 227 yds and 3 TD’s.

Dodge City Conquistadors helmetSHOWDOWN IN DODGE CITY – The (17) DODGE CITY COLLEGE CONQUISTADORS welcomed the FORT SCOTT COLLEGE GREYHOUNDS for a Jayhawk Conference clash. The Conquistadors led 7-0 in the 1st Quarter and 14-7 at Halftime enroute to a 17-14 victory. Dodge City Running Back Mark Thompson rushed for both Conquistador Touchdowns with his 82 yards.

Eastern Arizona CollegeUNDER THE RADAR CLASSICS – The EASTERN ARIZONA COLLEGE GILA MONSTERS were on the road against the SCOTTSDALE COLLEGE FIGHTING ARTICHOKES and went back home boasting a 21-17 victory     ###      And the BLINN COLLEGE BUCCANEERS managed a 31-27 win over the visiting CISCO COLLEGE WRANGLERS.

Georgia Military College BulldogsDOUBLING UP ON THE COMPETITION – The GEORGIA MILITARY COLLEGE BULLDOGS took the field against the (10) NASSAU COLLEGE LIONS. The homestanding Bulldogs seized a quick 28-7 lead in the 1st Quarter and parlayed that into a 42-21 triumph. GMC QB’s Cameron Rosendahl and J.Q. Quimbley threw for 1 Touchdown each.

Minnesota State Tech SpartansFRACAS IN FERGUS FALLS – The MINNESOTA STATE AT FERGUS FALLS SPARTANS did battle with the traveling MINNESOTA WEST BLUE JAYS on Saturday. Neither team scored in the 1st Quarter but the Spartans held a 12-0 lead at Halftime. The Blue Jays outscored MSFF 15-6 in the 2nd Half but the Spartans still won by a count of 18-15.

Itawamba College IndiansOFFENSE SQUARED – The ITAWAMBA COLLEGE INDIANS wound up squaring the offensive output of their guests the COAHOMA COLLEGE TIGERS. The Indians led 21-0 in the opening Quarter and didn’t let up until they had handed the Tigers a 49-7 beatdown. Itawamba WR Octavious Matthews had 2 Touchdowns on 84 receiving yds.

Kilgore CollegeROAD WARRIORS – The KILGORE COLLEGE RANGERS took it on the road against the NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA A&M GOLDEN NORSEMEN. Kilgore’s 14-0 1st Quarter lead became a 14-14 tie by the break. The defenses dominated in the 2nd Half but the Rangers grabbed a 21-14 win. QB Cameron Martin passed for 109 yds and 3 TD’s in the victory.

Butler (KS) GrizzliesSHUTOUTS – The (3) BUTLER (KS) GRIZZLIES manhandled the visiting IOWA CENTRAL COLLEGE TRITONS to the tune of 42-0     ###      And the (9) TYLER COLLEGE APACHES completely dismembered their guests the TEXAS A&T SPARTANS by a score of SEVENTY-TWO to NOTHING.

Hudson Valley Vikings helmetPLAYING ALL FOUR QUARTERS – The HUDSON VALLEY COLLEGE VIKINGS played host to the EAST COAST PREP FIREBIRDS and got more than they bargained for for most of the game. The score going into the 4th Quarter was tied up at 13-13. In the final frame the Vikings blasted the Firebirds for 21 points and a 34-13 win.

Itasca Vikngs helmetWORKING OVERTIME – The ITASCA COLLEGE VIKINGS and the homestanding VERMILION COLLEGE IRONMEN played an Instant Classic yesterday. After 4 Quarters of bone-breaking football the score stood at 20-20. In the extra session the Vikings shut out the Ironmen then scored a Touchdown for a 26-20 triumph.

Riverside College TigersEASY AS ONE, TWO, THREE – The top ranked RIVERSIDE COLLEGE TIGERS notched a road victory yesterday by doubling up on the EL CAMINO COLLEGE WARRIORS 42-21     ###      Meanwhile the (2) LONG BEACH COLLEGE VIKINGS needed Double Overtime to do it, but they won at the (13) MOUNT SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE MOUNTIES 38-31     ###      And the (3) COLLEGE OF THE CANYONS COUGARS survived a 20-14 visit from the BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE RENEGADES.

Los angeles valley monarchsBATTLING VALLEYS – The LOS ANGELES VALLEY COLLEGE MONARCHS played host to the ANTELOPE VALLEY COLLEGE MARAUDERS on Saturday. The Monarchs got off to a quick 20-7 1st Quarter lead and kept up the pressure from there, going on to defeat the Marauders by a score of 45-27. Los Angeles Valley Running Back Anthony Wyche rushed for 117 yards and 3 Touchdowns.

College of the desert roadrunnersBEEP BEEP – The COLLEGE OF THE DESERT ROADRUNNERS took the field against the visiting SAN BERNARDINO VALLEY COLLEGE WOLVERINES. This game was a tale of two Halves. The 1st Half ended with the Roadrunners trailing the Wolverines by a tight score of 21-19. In the 2nd Half the College of the Desert dominated, outscoring San Bernardino Valley College 34-13 for a 53-34 victory.

Golden West College RustlersLEBARD STADIUM SHOWDOWN – The GOLDEN WEST COLLEGE RUSTLERS welcomed the FULLERTON COLLEGE HORNETS to LeBard Stadium. The Rustlers trailed the Hornets 3-0 in the 1st Quarter and 10-7 at the break. The 3rd Quarter ended with Golden West College down 17-7 but the Rustlers exploded in the 4th for a 24-17 comeback win. QB Adam Vance threw for 270 yds and 1 TD in the victory.  

Palomar Comets helmet REALA TALE OF TWO COMETS TEAMS – The PALOMAR COLLEGE COMETS held serve against the GROSSMONT COLLEGE GRIFFINS 43-24     ###      And the CONTRA COSTA COLLEGE COMETS utterly annihilated their guests, the LOS MEDANOS COLLEGE MUSTANGS, to the tune of 48-7.  

Chabot CollegeHOLDING ON – The CHABOT COLLEGE GLADIATORS were at home against the SACRAMENTO CITY COLLEGE PANTHERS yesterday. The Gladiators parlayed a 28-7 Halftime lead into a 38-7 advantage in the 3rd Quarter, but then had to hold on against a ferocious comeback attempt by the Panthers. In the end Chabot College won the game 47-34.

Victor Valley Rams helmetFIFTY-EIGHT POINTS FOR THE WIN – The VICTOR VALLEY COLLEGE RAMS crushed their guests the EAST LOS ANGELES COLLEGE HUSKIES by a score of 58-21     ###     And the MOUNT SAN JACINTO COLLEGE EAGLES took it on the road to battle the COMPTON COLLEGE TARTARS and smacked them down 58-12.
