CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The top seeded AND top ranked TALLADEGA COLLEGE TORNADOES engaged in a hardcourt battle with the 2nd seeded XAVIER (LA) GOLD RUSH. The Tornadoes held a 30-28 edge over the Gold Rush at Halftime but then poured it on offensively in the 2nd Half. By game’s end Talladega College won by a final score of 76-58. Shondel Stewart once again led the Tornadoes with 20 points. * CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TORNADOES, WHO MOVE ON TO THE NAIA NATIONAL TOURNAMENT! *

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The 2 seeds – the CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY TIGERS – faced the 4th seeded UNIVERSITY OF THE CUMBERLANDS PATRIOTS in this title game. This was hard-fought game with the Tigers leading 35-29 at the break but barely withstanding a 2nd Half surge from the Patriots for a 72-69 victory. D’Von Campbell’s 16 points led Campbellsville U while his teammate Damontre Harris logged a Double Double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. * CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TIGERS, WHO MOVE ON TO THE NAIA NATIONAL TOURNAMENT. *
