Today marks the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show during their first trip to the United States. My older sister Rosemary is a very zealous Beatles fan and to mark this historic occassion she put together this layout for a fictional two-record set featuring what she feels are the Beatles’ best songs after their breakup. The terminal point was 1981 to include the release of John Lennon’s final album, which however means songs like George Harrison’s Got My Heart Set on You cannot be included.

Great list! I always liked John and George most of all!
I’ll let Rosemary know! Thanks for commenting!
Interesting selection. Not enough Paul for my taste though.
I will tell Rosemary you said so!
Why so little Ringo?
Rosemary says she wasn’t trying to do an even amount for each Beatle, she just selected her favorites from the time after they broke up.
What a clever idea! I’m doing one of these for my favorite group Fleetwood Mac!
I will tell Rosemary you said so!
I love this idea! I need to do this!
I told Rosemary what you said and she said “Everyone should, it’s good for the soul!”
I am putting all these on a playlist for myself and labeling it the Rosemary Album!
Great! I will let Rosemary know!
