Erskine Flying FleetFLYING FLEET FOILS FALCONS – Sorry, I was channeling a New York Post headline writer there for a moment. The ERSKINE COLLEGE FLYING FLEET were on the road against the PFEIFFER UNIVERSITY FALCONS, who I still say should spell their name “Pfalcons” instead. A  33-28 Halftime lead for the Flying Fleet ultimately became a 67-57 victory for Erskine. Jake Haslam led all Flying Fleet players with his 18 points.

THE AVENGERS RULE MORE THAN JUST THE BOX OFFICE – The ASA COLLEGE AVENGERS greeted the SUNY-ORANGE COUNTY COLTS yesterday. As usual the Avengers had a “take no prisoners” approach to competition and when all the dust had finally settled in this thoroughly one-sided affair ASA College had registered an unbelievable ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO to FORTY-FIVE triumph. Every Avenger scored except Hawkeye I’ll bet.
