ISLAMISTS STILL WORKING TO DENY WOMEN THE RIGHT TO VOTE

If you’re one of those Muslim men who get offended when women show their faces you need to join the 21st Century … and seek psychiatric help.

MUSLIM APARTHEID CONTINUES IN THEIR INHUMAN TREATMENT OF WOMEN …

It should be no surprise that Islam, the only religion in the 21st century to perpetuate superstitious savagery like killing people for drawing pictures of their faith’s central figure, violently opposes women’s right to vote. In Pakistan, the Muslim Taliban still threatens women who try to vote and communities who try to accomodate women voting by issuing them national ID cards.

“Women voting is un-Islamic” according to many Muslim religious leaders in Pakistan. A woman voting is considered grounds for divorce in those same backward quarters. In the Muslim world women are treated as being mentally inferior to men. According to the Muslim practice of purdah a woman’s place is in the home and women are not allowed to leave the house without a male relative.

Sidra Ali, a female activist pursuing women’s voting rights in Pakistan, says “The men do not allow the women to step out of the house … They treat the women here like livestock.”

In mid-April threats from Islamists forced Gullana Bibi, a Pakistani woman courageously running for office, to withdraw from the race, fearing for her life. Last year Islamists shot Malala Yousafzai, a female Pakistani teenager publicly advocating letting women be educated.

No wonder these brave women have to tread carefully since they see how cowardly so much of the global community behaves when it comes to speaking out against the Muslim world’s treatment of women. If people had been this cowardly about criticizing South Africa you can bet Apartheid would still be practiced there.
