It’s that time of year again! Just a note in the spirit of the holiday season to mention my favorite Thanksgiving Eve movie.
Every Wednesday before Thanksgiving I make a point out of watching the musical Oliver!
I know the musical sentimentalizes several characters that Dickens portrayed in a sinister way in the book (especially Fagan and The Artful Dodger) but the finished product has always seemed very holidayish to me. Since Christmas has plenty of films that go with it I decided to make Oliver! the official Thanksgiving Eve flick in my eccentric little world.
Wonderful! I love Oliver! but I never thought to do it on Thanksgiving Eve as you call it.
Thanks! Let’s see if we can make it a nationwide tradition.

I really like this but some of it is so sad.
I agree, it takes you on a roller coaster.
I love Oliver!
It is pretty cool isn’t it!
