The 2011-2012 college hockey season is over in the divisions covered by Balladeer’s Blog. The St Norbert College Green Knights (logo at left) repeated as the national champions of NCAA Division 3 hockey. It was a case of “Keefer Madness” as St Norbert’s Cody Keefer registered a Hat Trick in the Green Knights’ 4-1 victory in the title game.
Here’s a final round of congratulations to this year’s various college hockey champs!
NCAA Division 3 – ST NORBERT COLLEGE GREEN KNIGHTS (def the Oswego State Lakers)
NJCAA – MONROE COLLEGE TRIBUNES (def the Williston State Tetons – as in the mountains)
ACHA Division 1 – DELAWARE BLUE HENS (def the Oakland (MI) Golden Grizzlies)
ACHA Division 2 – FLORIDA GULF COAST EAGLES (def the Grand Valley State Lakers)
ACHA Division 3 – ADRIAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS (def the Davenport Panthers)
I’m into D1 college hockey but I never knew these other divisions existed! Where can I watch their games?
The school and/or division web sites have archived broadcasts of their games. Enjoy!
Great learning about all these other divisions! I had no clue other D1 teams played in this ACHA postseason but I’ll be following it regularly from now on!
Glad to hear it! Tell your friends!
Impressive coverage of the less exposed divisions! I’m a Monroe Tribunes fan and proud of it!
Thanks! You must be proud that they won the hockey title yet again!
Thanks for covering Delaware’s cahmpionship! Hardly anybody else covered it!
No problem at all! !
Go Tribunes! Asskicking name!
Not as asskicking as The Ass Kickers would be!
Go Williston State!
