CBS COLLEGE SPORTS ANNOUNCES D2 COLLEGE FOOTBALL BROADCASTS FOR 2011 SEASON

The cable channel called CBS College Sports has announced the six regular season games it will broadcast for NCAA Division 2 football this coming season. This list does not include the additional broadcasts that will be aired on local channels or on other cable outlets like Comcast Sports or ESPN. I’ll have a post on the D2 games to be broadcast on Comcast in the near future. All the following games are scheduled for 8pm Eastern Time.

SEPT 8TH – CENTRAL WASHINGTON WILDCATS AT HUMBOLDT STATE LUMBERJACKS

SEPT 15TH – BLOOMSBURG HUSKIES AT IUP CRIMSON HAWKS

SEPT 22ND – MISSOURI WESTERN GRIFFONS AT WASHBURN ICHABODS

OCT 6TH – COLORADO MINES OREDIGGERS AT CSU-PUEBLO THUNDERWOLVES

OCT 20TH – ASHLAND EAGLES AT SVSU CARDINALS

OCT 27TH – AUGUSTANA VIKINGS AT MINNESOTA STATE MAVERICKS

In the cool-named team sweepstakes we have two games – Sept 22nd and Oct 6th – where both teams in the game have really cool nicknames and only one game – Oct 20th – where both teams have incredibly overused nicknames.

Loved this! I never heard of most of these teams you cover until your blog came along. Loved the cool-name breakdown. LOL .
