In addition to receiving spam to the Nth degree one of the pleasures of blogging is getting to interact with the writers of other blogs. Here are seven blogs that are more than worth checking out. The list is in alphabetical order:
ACCORDING TO WOMAN – The writer of this blog calls herself Woman, and she writes in very intimate detail about her life teaching in China. NSFW – http://theworldaccordingtowoman.wordpress.com/
BADLANDS BADLY – The perfect blog for people who share my odd sense of humor but who aren’t in a mental institution. – http://badlandsbadley.wordpress.com/
HOUSE OF VINES – Sannion, the author of the blog, offers fascinating insight into pagan cultures and forms of worship, past and present – http://thehouseofvines.wordpress.com/
LIFE WITH 4 CATS – Sara writes a terrific blog about life with her four eccentric and personable cats Twiggy, Littleboy, Babygirl and Pooh – http://lifewith4cats.com/
LIKE CLOCKWORK – Lainey Marie writes a very interesting blog about one of the subjects I’m obsessed with – mythology – http://laineyymarie.wordpress.com/
MY LITTLE DOG – Didi and her dog George co-write this wonderful blog that is essential reading for the dog lover in your life – http://mylittledog.wordpress.com/
UNGA BUNGA GIRL – This blog is written by a young poet who treats the reader to some of her verse plus her prose articles about life in general – http://ungabungagirl.wordpress.com/
Thank you so much haha. I’m flattered and glad you like my blog enough to include me in this.
You’re welcome!
ohh I remember checking out house of vines a long time ago and liked it. Im glad you made me remember. And all The others on here looks Like Im gonna like em as well. Cool!!
Im wanting to put up a post similar on my other blog one of these days. Thanks for the mention! Twiggy especialy likes being first in the list.
Go Fighting Twiggies!! Yeah!!
Yeah, Sannion’s a great guy. I’m glad Twiggy of The Fighting Twiggies fame liked being mentioned first!
YAY!!!! You like my blog!!!!! It still shocks me when I discover people not just read my work, but like it. Thank-you for making me blush!!!!! Just to be difficult… I think the people who write the heartfelt and emotional feeling style of blogs are intimate. To me? Sex is an activity that requires the six senses, and laughter. I just write it well!!!
Cannot wait to check some of them out!!!
w
Well it certainly makes for interesting reading!
I have to make up for the lack of English programming somehow you know darling!!!!!
Reply to Woman;s reply – LOL, you are so funny!
Cool! I only know Sara, and UB Girl.
Thanks for the comment! I think all 7 of these are good reading.
At Balladeer; we ran out of replies!!!! But I was being totally serious!!!!! Such a bad thing when I try to be serious. Screw it. Want to take over the world instead???
Sure, let’s take over the world instead. What have we got to lose?
My toys.
And if we loose them? I’ll never be able to chuckle at The Joker when he says in Batman, “Where does he get such wonderful toys!”
Thank you so much. You reciprocated. In some cultures that means we’re married. Just kidding! Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
These look like great blogs. I look forward to investigating them. Take care.
LOL Wow, that sure beats a long, expensive wedding! I was glad to do it and I hope you like these blogs! Always good to hear from you!
Im picturing a marriage between Unga Bunga and Baladeer. Its got a volcano theme. People arive on giant wolfback. Everyone clutches their sabertooth wraps tightly because it is cold in the cave. Then Unga Bunga sees a big pile of thick tomes and set them on fire to warm the cave. Soon Unga and Baladeer have their first fight. heheheh
Can’t they have their first baby instead? 😆 Am I just an incurable romantic!
Sara – A volcano theme? Are you accusing me of being a Scientologist? (I’m just kidding!) I can’t picture Unga Bunga Girl burning books so I guess that argument wouldn’t happen.
Team Oyeniyi – Wow, you’re moving things along awfully fast!
I would totally dig on a volcano themed wedding. That’s funny. I wonder what kind of wedding the medieval maiden would have….
Great list. I agree with plenty. And there’s a new one I’m going to check out now! Thank you.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting!
I don’t know but I am sure there would be lots of grog served by wenches.
I’ve got that outfit!!! I’ll be the serving wench!!!
ok, for a wedding gift Ide like a net on a pully. You can be in charge of the gift finding too.
Was just catching up with your posts, and found this! What a nice surprise, thanks a lot, Ed. What I like about posts like this not necessarily finding my own blog on the list, but discovering new blogs that are worth reading. Thanks for the recommendations. Will check them out.
As for all this wedding talk, I’m not getting anywhere near it 😛
Thanks for stopping by, Didi! I’ve been horribly sick for a few days, so that’s why my posts are a bit behind.
I’m sorry to hear that, Ed. I hope you’re better now. I did notice I wasn’t getting as many post notifications from your blog, but I thought you might be on holiday or something. I wish that was the case, being sick sucks!
Thanks for your concern! This flu has been sapping my energy for surfing other blogs, too, so I’ll need to catch up on my reading in a couple days.
You are a great guy for taking on the misogyny of Islam! Like everybod says, u r THE BRAT PRINCE OF BLOGGING!
Thanks very much!
