CONCORD, NH – The NHTI, Concord’s Community College athletics department has announced that the men’s and women’s basketball teams have both qualified for Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) post season play.
The NHTI men’s basketball team finished the YSCC regular season with a record of 22-8 and as the number three seed. The Lynx will host the number six seeded Nashua Community College on Tuesday February 15th at 7 PM. The winner of the game will advance to the YSCC men’s basketball final four championship tournament being held this coming weekend at Southern Maine Community College. Vermont Technical College claims the YSCC regular season title.
Coach Shelley Winters’ NHTI women’s basketball team finished the YSCC regular season with a record of 14-14 and claims the number five seed in the YSCC. The NHTI women’s basketball team will travel up to the number four seeded Eastern Maine Community College on Tuesday February 15th; tip-off will be 8 PM. The winner will advance into the YSCC women’s basketball final four championship tournament coming up this weekend. Central Maine Community College wins the YSCC regular season title.
