CONCORD — The NHTI, Concord’s Community College women’s basketball team downed their rivals Southern Maine Community College 64-59.
Lindsey Carr (Gilford) paced the Lynx with 18 points 11 rebounds and had four blocks. Also, Jess Hardiman (Loudon) netted 15 points, Kaylee Towle (Dover) added 13 points, eight boards and six assists, and Ashley Harris (Sandown) pulled in 12 boards.
The Lynx are now 13-12 and will host YSCC foe U-Maine Augusta today.
The NHTI men’s basketball team lost to rival Southern Maine Community College 80-65.
Terry Williams (Norwich, CT) had another big game as he scored 29 points and pulled in eight rebounds. Also, Jackson Riel (Pembroke) netted 10 points, and Marv Leveille (Stamford, CT) added 10 rebounds.
NHTI (21-7) will also host rival UMA on Sunday.
