THE BEST NAIA SOCCER TOURNAMENT PREVIEW ANYWHERE

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (Scoreboard) The 2010 NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round will take place on Saturday with 15 matches played at on-campus sites. In the 30-team field, seven programs are repeat selections from the 2009 National Championship, while eight others are making their first appearance overall. The 15 opening round winners will join Mobile (Ala.) in Orange Beach, Ala., at the National Championship final site from Nov. 29 – Dec. 4. Continue reading

NOT A MONSTER MOVIE: BLUE DRAGONS TAKE ON THE GILA MONSTERS IN THE SALT CITY BOWL

The 10th-ranked Hutchinson Community College football team will play host to No. 17 Eastern Arizona College in the second Salt City Bowl.

Salt City Bowl chairman Cody Heitschmidt and Blue Dragon football head coach Rion Rhoades made the announcement on Tuesday, pitting two of the best nicknames in all of college football – the Blue Dragons and the Gila Monsters.

The 2010 Salt City Bowl will kick off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Gowans Stadium.

Football – Zions Bank Top of the Mountains Football Bowl Game Information

The # 6 Reiver Football team (9-1) will take on # 13 Snow College (9-2) in Sandy, Utah in the 6th annual Zions Bank Top of The Mountains Bowl to be played at 12 Noon on Saturday, Dec. 4th at Rio Tinto Stadium.  The game will be aired on 89.7 The River.

FRANKLIN AND MARSHALL DIPLOMATS IN ECAC BOWL FIELD

JOHNS HOPKINS BLUE JAYS TO PLAY IN ECAC SOUTH ATLANTIC BOWL

DROVERS SOCCER READY TO TEAR UP THE NAIA TOURNAMENT

Kick off will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Brownsville Sports Park in Brownsville, Texas. This is the first round of the NAIA National Tournament. The winner of Saturday night’s game will go on to play in the second round in Orange Beach, Ala.
