The irrational partisans of the political left and the political right often forget that the only reason any of them have the luxury of sitting back and making pompous, self-righteous pronouncements is because of the men and women who actually go out and DO something. And they do it even though they know that when you actually do something it makes you an easy target for political zealots of all stripes who like to sit on the sidelines of history and gloat when some things inevitably go wrong once action is taken. Forget all the smug second-guessers today and remember the men and women who have literally given their all and did it for everyone, no matter if they have a ridiculous (D) or (R) after their name.
