The NCAA has changed the name of Wo-men’s Sand Volley-ball to Wo-men’s Beach Volley-ball and has named it the 90th colleg-iate sport whose Champ-ion-ship will come under the NCAA aegis.
May 6th to 8th will see the organization’s first ever National Tournament for Beach Volleyball, held at Gulf Shores, AL. An eight-team field will compete for the title in a Double Elimination format.
