FROM NOVEMBER 19th, 2019: (And remember, I despise BOTH George W. Bush AND Obama.)
Here’s another item from the unhinged case files of Anti-Donald Trump Hysteria. This was originally posted when Trump-hating buffoons went berserk about Trump firing an ambassador AS ALL PRESIDENTS ARE FREE TO DO. The ignorant and uninformed anti-Trumpers have no clue about how their own country functions as incoming presidential administrations replace the previous administration’s ambassadors (and other personnel) with their own people.
On November 19th, 2019 I referenced a January 3rd article from Huffington Post and the Washington Post about Obama firing all Bush-appointed ambassadors/ demanding their resignations by Inauguration Day. Even though this was the norm, we have all seen that any news item about President Trump on such a topic would have been marked by the Democrats and their media outlets insisting it showed Trump was being “a dictator” and on and on for days or weeks.
Time and again over his terms in office, even actions by Trump that HAVE BEEN DONE BY PREVIOUS PRESIDENTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN get blown out of proportion as if they are tyrannical power moves. The people who hate him then prove how utterly uninformed they are about presidential history. Here we go:
With America’s increasingly unhinged Democrats pretending it’s some sort of scandal that de facto Third Party President Donald Trump fired the insubordinate and partisan Marie “Tears of a Clown” Yovanovich as Ambassador to Ukraine, here’s a reminder that ALL PRESIDENTS ARE FREE TO FIRE AMBASSADORS WHENEVER THEY WANT AND FOR ANY REASON. PRESIDENTS SET POLICY, NOT TENURED FUNCTIONARIES.
Barack Obama fired ALL of the Bush administration’s ambassadors, so once again we see the Democrats and their media outlets blowing a situation all out of proportion to try to demonize every move made by President Trump.
(I despised both Obama AND Bush so I have no dog in that particular fight.)
It’s the usual template: Trump does something that is entirely within a president’s powers following which his clueless opponents hysterically act like it is the move of “a dictator.” Brain-dead entertainers and many people overseas then mindlessly parrot such wildly inaccurate claims.
The Democrats have provided another reason to #WALKAWAY from their deranged political party.
