Southern Oregon RaidersCHAMPIONSHIP GAME – From Daytona Beach, FL this year’s 59th Annual NAIA Championship Game pitted the SOUTHERN OREGON UNIVERSITY RAIDERS against the MARIAN UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS, who were trying for their 2nd title in the past 3 years. The Raiders capitalized on every Marian mistake and by the end of the 1st Quarter led 24-7. That dominance extended into the 2nd Quarter as SOU seized a 38-10 advantage by Halftime.

In the 3rd Quarter the Knights shut out their opponents and pulled to within 14 points at 38-24. In the 4th Southern Oregon’s record-setting QB Austin Dodge simply pressed down on the accelerator and extended his team’s lead again. When the dust settled SOU had won the game 55-31.  * CONGRATULATIONS TO SOUTHERN OREGON UNIVERSITY, THE CHAMPIONS OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS! *

CSU-PuebloCHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY AT PUEBLO THUNDERWOLVES and the MINNESOTA STATE MAVERICKS clashed, each team attempting to win their first D2 title. After a 23 year gap the Thunderwolves brought football back in 2007 and in that brief time Head Coach John Wristen forged a trail to the Championship Game. The Pueblo defense was the story of the game, shutting out the potent offense of the Mavericks for all 4 Quarters.

Meanwhile, after a scoreless 1st Quarter the Thunderwolves put up 10 hard-fought points of their own in the 2nd. They added a Field Goal in the 3rd Quarter while the 4th was another example of defensive perfection from both teams. Pueblo won their first D2 Championship in ANY sport with this 13-0 victory. * CONGRATULATIONS TO THE THUNDERWOLVES, THE 2014 CHAMPIONS OF D2 FOOTBALL! *

* NCAA DIVISION THREE *

Whitewater Warhawks helmet newCHAMPIONSHIP GAME – For the NINTH time in the last ten years the defending champion UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN AT WHITEWATER WARHAWKS and the UNIVERSITY OF MOUNT UNION PURPLE RAIDERS did battle for the D3 crown. Some doubted the Warhawks coming into this game after their close calls in the Quarter and Semifinals but the team said goodbye to retiring Coach Lance Leipold in style, winning their 6th title in 9 tries against Mt Union.

Whitewater led 13-7 in the 1st Quarter and 30-14 at Halftime before the Purple Raiders pulled to within 37-31 by the end of the 3rd Quarter. The Warhawks outscored UMU 6-3 in the 4th to win the game 43-34. * CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WARHAWKS, THE D3 CHAMPIONS FOR THE SIXTH TIME! *

  4. Hi this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs
    use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.

    I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so
    I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.
    Any help would be enormously appreciated!

  5. Howdy! This post couldn’t be written much better! Looking at this article reminds me of my previous roommate!
    He constantly kept preaching about this. I’ll forward this
    post to him. Fairly certain he’s going to have a great
    read. Thank you for sharing!
