The SAN ANTONIO SILVER STARS (logo at left) were at 4-4 headed into last night’s road game against the SEATTLE STORM. The Storm were riding a 2-game winning streak, one of which was a toppling of WNBA defending champs the MINNESOTA LYNX, ending their 10-0 run to start the season.
Seattle withstood a furious 4th quarter rally by the Silver Stars and won 82-76. Tanisha Wright led the Storm to their 3rd straight win with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. She also added 8 clutch free-throws late in the 4th to clinch the victory. Jia Perkins led San Antonio with 20 points of her own.
