The WNBA season’s only undefeated team suffered its first loss and the only winless team notched their first victory on the same day! The Seattle Storm (logo at left) ended the 10-0 run of the defending champion Minnesota Lynx in a 65-62 nailbiter.
Meanwhile the 0-9 Tulsa Shock won an 87-75 home stand against the Phoenix Mercury to at last log a win for the season. The Shock’s next game will be Wednesday night at the Los Angeles Sparks, who last night utterly demolished the visiting Washington Mystics in a 101-70 embarrassment.
